You have a see-saw. One side is content and the other is player power. Right now player power(at the top of the bell curve) is a bit to heavy to be lifted by content. Its close so you take the shoes off the player or add a rock to content. You don't just cut off the legs of the player. Just saying.

I never stated this was a good idea, just thats ZoS logic imo.

I would have never stopped CP system. A catch up mechanic to make older content easier is a good thing, not a bad thing.

Making stuff hit less hard? Sure, I can see how that might help. But how does nerfing sustain help? I'm a fan of and utilize LA weaving, but LA weaving helps a lot with sustain... but the players who would in theory benefit the most from keeping DPS in check will also be hit the hardest by the sustain nerf because they're likely not out there weaving perfectly. In the end they may end up hurting MORE from sustain nerfs?

As I said, I personally think that LA weaving is fun and adds a lot to the combat system. But the changes being made with what seems to be the goal of leveling the playing field a bit more are doing the opposite- the gap between the DPS output from non-LA weaving playstyles and those who LA weave is just going to widen.
