I doubt you'll get a reply from ZOS on it.so i read the preview article for scalebreaker, saw that the option to multicraft items is finally being added to the base game UI
my question to zos is: why does it take 5 years to add such a simple and essential feature to the base UI? this isn't the first time either. such minute and obvious features like being able to reorganise your characters on the selection screen, combat text, nameplates etc. seem to take years to implement
i'm just having trouble understanding where your priorities lie, guys
Not sure why it's taken them so long to really put focus on QoL issues, I am just glad they finally are.
It could always be because so many issues are not issues for PC players, and as such never get attention? Maybe this is part of what they're finding by having some devs playing on console now, that these kinds of things are issues because add-ons don't fix them.
I agree that it is unlikely Zos will reply. It is a rather pointless question to ask and even more pointless to answer.
It seems odd to be critical of Zos for actually providing a QoL benefit. There are plenty of reasons to be critical of Zos but this is not one of them.
@idk is it really so odd? it's part of a larger issue in which zos only seems to push real changes like 4 times a year with major updates, and because of all the new content in these major updates they end up breaking just as many things as they fix
just an example. this is how they've always been, and it's not good. plenty of games receive actual changes and updates to the game far more regularly than ESO.
also, i feel no need to give zos a pat on the head when they finally add something worthwhile to the game. they're a triple A company monetising the bajeezus out of their game, they don't need any pats on the head from anyone. zos's schedule for making changes to the game has been awful and inefficient for years, so i'm hoping to raise some awareness for that fact; the fact it's taken 5 years to add a multicraft button is a shining example of this inefficiency
i'm honestly quite shocked by the amount of people seemingly content/defending/completely unaware of this terrible update schedule of theirs.
I'm shocked you still have the audacity to come back and make this post.
Toxic people like you are the reason why devs will hardly communicate with players in these boards.
Do you honestly believe that? I find it more likely that the communication issues stem from poor strategy and a lack of solutions to appease players who've endured the same issues for years.

This really has little to do with the communication issues. This is not one of the bigger issues that needs attention. It is a QoL. What you are saying is much more appropriate for Cyrodiil's performance/GF prime time issues/in-combat bug/NPC telegraph. Not a little QoL no matter how nice it will be to have.

i'm not so sure. the fact that half of the features zos adds to the UI exist as stable mods for months to years in advance tells me otherwise.
if the devs actually communicated with us it could give us a better understanding of their process, but oh well

there it is.
the "there's bigger priorities than this" argument. my friend, that isn't how game design works.
more people need to read my sig i think. you don't need to disagree just for the sake of stirring something.
your attempt to change the subject has also been noted. this thread is about questioning zos on their rediculously slow response time to adding essential features, i care little for the fact multicraft has (finally) been added to the basegame UI. your failure to properly address my response to you, and instead opting to subtly insult me in your other post on the thread has also been noted, and speaks volumes to the water your argument holds.

Thought you said it was a serious question.
Why do so many people have this notion, that somehow the game company "owes" them an explanation for absolutely Every aspect of the product, no matter how minor?
Can't you just note - "hey, they changed something, and I like it. Cool." and be done with it? Why do you have the need to turn a positive into a negative criticism?
just curious
