If there was going to be a new class, I'd like to see a martial class. A warlord, duelist, or martial artist type. One about weapons and/or unarmed combat with an emphasis on physical combat techniques than magic.
My jokes aside. I don't know how a bard class would work.Nemesis7884 wrote: »i still see room and lore reasons for a group support focused BARD class
We really don't.Nemesis7884 wrote: »we NEED another new class

THAT is not a -class-! That is a bunch of skill lines! (since a -class- always has to be viable for both stamina -and- magica flavor)TelvanniWizard wrote: »Full stamina class would be kinda nice.

Bard would be better done as -guild- skill lime, methinks. And my further thoughtes on the matter are on record: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/387560/additional-guild-ideas-mk-iiMy jokes aside. I don't know how a bard class would work.
"Monk" as in "martial arts" and "unarmed combat" is not a -class- in ESO setup. It is a weapon skill line to fight barehanded (possibly in "whispering fang" flavor), and a "martial arts" skill line containing stamina support skills, possibly a world or guild skill line...TrinityBreaker wrote: »We need a Monk class. I've been wanting to throw hands in a fabulous and flashy manner. Also can we get a side of Minotaur playable race and a tall cup of Whispering Fang fighting style for the khajiit pretty plis?

Does the TES setting have it established that bards can use singing to enhance their allies or hamper their foes? As the traditional bard in fantasy gaming (D&D) is as such.
TES games I've played bards are just normal people which use the same abilities as everyone else but happen to sing as well.
True, but what would make a bard different from any other class? Why would a bard be different from a Templar which sings?Nemesis7884 wrote: »My jokes aside. I don't know how a bard class would work.Nemesis7884 wrote: »i still see room and lore reasons for a group support focused BARD class

a) there is a bard college guild so...
b.) none of the other eso class archetypes are like their traditional counterparts in other games so why would the bard be
No more classes until they can make progress in fixing the ones that already exist. Doesn't need to be perfect, but playable.

Knowing how this game's aesthetics look though, it would probably still end up having glowy magic looking buffs and flashing light up attacks...
