Apparently the Lost Treasure addon is being updated (manual update to .lua file possible, or dropbox file), and the only missing survey location is that for Alchemy. Refer to the comments tab on the Esoui.com page for that addon.

LMAO of course! THAT is the survey I just got & can't use...

The Lost Treasure version from the dropbox link or Map Pins official download does have all (CE-)Treasure and Survey Maps coming with Elsweyr included now. Update one of them and you are ready to go.

This issue (blurred survey maps) was listed as fixed in the 5.0.7 patch on June 3. Yay!

The enchanting survey site didn't show up until I was right on top of it. I spent ages looking for it even with the coords and the after they fixed the maps. It's on top of the fallen wall - south end where the dragon is.

most likely, because they have the simpler solutions to solve... lol

I can assure you, they're looking into the other ones, but they're more complicated

I'm guessing the patch fixes from the first 2 weeks haven't made it to console yet, I'm sure they'll be fixed in the first incremental update for console.

Just hang on to them, they'll still work after they fix them, as they did on PC

We're now 5 years into ESO.
With the advent of the Zone Guide, I'm sure you're aware that baseline map functionality could use some significant improvements.
On that note, I believe it's time to roll the functionality of certain popular add-ons, such as "Lost Treasure", "Skyshards", and "Lorebooks" into the base game.

On Topic: "Lost Treasure": My constructive suggestion:
In the near future, create a base-game, account wide, toggle option, under the "Gameplay" settings, called "Show Treasure Maps and Surveys on the world map".

Make the setting default to "Off", and give the setting a tooltip that says "Enabling this setting may slightly impact your overall immersion, but will greatly increase your ability to locate Treasure Maps and Crafting Surveys".

Bonus: This same code could, theoretically, be reused to show Skyshards and Lorebooks on the world map, using their own settings under the "Gameplay" section.

As always, I hope this helps,

Is it possible that these map add-ons that show the location of chests etc, are effecting the game when new information is added to the ESO game by the makers??

@DrOuttaSight, the map addons - no.
Lost Treasure just has some client-side information about where the surveys and treasures can be found, i.e. the client side does all the work (if any, it's not much). I presume that Map Pins works in a similar way. It doesn't "query" the server at all for any information. In either case, if you turned off addons like this, you would be able to see right away if it were affecting your game performance.

My understanding is that ZoS is concerned that TRADING addons like Master Merchant (there are others) are / have been querying the servers for too much data though, and that this started taxing their database/network system above some critical threshhold. This is why they recently put in various restrictive measures, like a 30 second cooldown after each 100 records of data pulled. (That can end up being a LOT of data if the addon queries the entire guild trading history for five large guilds).

Personally, I think there is something subtle that they changed in the code a few weeks ago that started causing more friction internally in their systems. Before that, it all worked pretty well, aside from noticeable client-side lag when MM was updating. But there were problems happening even when people turned their MM off...
