Maintenance for the week of April 13:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 13

How should ZOS compensate its second-rate PC-EU customers for the ongoing problems?

I would like an actual Senche Tiger mount, in the proper Senche Tiger colourway, with actual tiger stripe markings on its face.

...and if a few people, who prove they bought their account on eBay, by saying things I know were not true about the game at launch (because I was there) complain, mentioning the word "exclusivity", then even better.

I'd be happy if they could at least acknowledge the fact that the EU server (and most of its players) is located in another time zone and that "evening" actually means "night" for those concerned.

PC-EU has been plagued by various problems for a long while now, so I'd say we are due for a little compensation. What would be reasonably to ask though? I don't want to come off as too greedy, being a second-rate customer after all... so I'd like some input from my fellow second-rate customers.

I'd say 20 Telvar stones would be sufficient? Perhaps a stack of 10 Imp Stool? If they're feeling generous.. 3 Crown Refreshing Drinks would be AWESOME.

What do you all think would be reasonable for a second-rate customer to ask for compensation?

Such issues can be compensated only with blood. ZOS should upgrade server hardware and fire person(s) who are responsible for not upgrading it before Elsweyr.

With actual information, customers can make an informed decision about whether to continue forward with a game that is plagued with problems which are, for some reason, more problematic when you are in certain areas of the globe.

Informed player base which can decide going on playing the game or not? This will be a nightmare for ZOS.
They won't do anything. They will milk the cow as long as they can with minimal investment.
BTW have you ever seen a company being honest to their costumers?

Well, from my experience in such matters, higher executives overall will provide budget for major sites like PC EU, if tech executives will provide enough justification for it and will be persistent in pushing this justification. So I don't think it's personal blame of Todd, ZOS leadership etc.. it's somebody was too lazy in tech department, or their tech executive didn't wanted to look bad (obviously pushing for tech budget is not most popular action in eyes of management).. that is reason why CTO should always be seasoned, well-respected professional manager who could make tough decisions and take responsibility for them.

I lost due to shut down servers:
    40k
    1-2 dreug waxes
    2-4 tempering alloys
    1-2 rosins
    2-4 kuta
    5-10 surveys
    login reward

I even keep quiet about the "Style Page: Lord Warden's mask" farm.
How do I compensate for these losses?

As a compensation, I wish that ZOS could just bring back the guild data reading for addons.

So that addon creators, who are not paid by zos, but who are fixing their useless UI anyway, could continue to work for free, so that we the customers who enjoy trading, could enjoy playing the game again, and pay zos.

    ....WAIT

This community has so many addon makers that fix little things & improve quality of life so the devs don't have to. It's honestly annoying the devs manage to bork things so much.

Compensation? It would be most welcome if there were an honest post from the highest ups in the company explaining the actual issue (no sugar coating it), why it's so hard to solve and ask for forgiveness for past mistakes while they try their hardest to solve what is apparently one of the hardest problems in the history of the interwebs and gaming combined.

With actual information, customers can make an informed decision about whether to continue forward with a game that is plagued with problems which are, for some reason, more problematic when you are in certain areas of the globe.
Unfortunately, it seems developers/publishers from all walks of life are just dreadfully afraid of admitting that something is wrong on their end.

Why that may be? Who knows. A fear of losing customers, shareholders deciding to pull back, and if it's a developer speaking out: Publishers getting antsy and possibly do something to undermine the developer's future.

Basically it's fear of financial reprisal, which is pretty ridiculous to say the least.

For each day they cannot log in during the DB/TG event, they should get 2 Event Tickets.
And if they could re-examine the Hireling mail timer, that would be great.

My car probably won't start either.

Look on the bright side. At least we'll be able to re-nationalise our railways and protect our fishing waters. Currently verboten by the unelected...sorry, wise folks who knows better than us dumb proles. Small compensations but we take what we can get.

Perhaps everyone who plays on EU server should drop their sub on the same day?

Perhaps that would get ZoS attention??

    Perhaps not.

Otherwise, there's no point; they don't care, and there's nothing at all that can be done.
