Dear Zos,
As I'm typing this now, I'm once again unable to login to the PC EU server, which is fitting for the post I'm writing here. But that's only part of the focus of this discussion.
The amount of bugs which are piling up and have been for years is alarming to say the least. Another recent post collated many known bugs into an extensive list which didn't even cover everything (see here:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/482293/this-is-eso#latest).
Your recent Necromancer class is riddled with bugs affecting ability pathing, corpse generation, tether targeting and breaking and character slowing (effects other classes too, but for some reason effects necro the most) as well as others that I'm probably missing. Many of these were reported 2 months ago during the PTS, yet none of them were addressed before launch. What is the point of the PTS if none of the feedback is taken into consideration?
Major, well documented and game altering bugs such as the group finder problems, BGs not filling properly so they don't start, the more recent AoE indication desync and the 'Stuck in combat' bug are being completely ignored despite the fact that these bugs dramatically diminish overall enjoyment of the game and punish players simply because the game is poorly coded. Instead we get gems like:
"Fixed an issue where you were able to swap out abilities during combat."
This feels almost like a slap in the face to regular PvPers in Cyrodiil who have had to put up with the combat bug for years! Being able to swap Rapids onto the bar while in combat felt like it was a temporary quality of life fix for this longstanding bug.
Performance also appears to be getting significantly worse across all servers and also needs to be addressed soon. Cancelling the Midyear Mayhem event isn't going to make this go away.
So Zos, please stop ignoring all of these problems, they are not going to go away. This game is brilliant when it works and it's such a shame to see it continue to deteriorate over the years because of issues which are continually neglected in favour of pouring out more content.
TL/DR: Bugs and performance are getting out of hand and need to be addressed.
