The title pretty much says it all. I know there communication isn’t the best and often they don’t communicate at all but I’ve never experienced this deafening silence before.
The forum is full of complaints about performance issues and bugs brought to the game with Elsweyr yet the only ZOS communication is “we deleted this due to... please keep civil“.
It’s like they vanished completely after Elsweyr launched and don’t bother at all which is a shame because for me Elsweyr is the best Chapter yet storywise and I thoroughly enjoy Necromancer (although overall underwhelming).
Maybe I missed it, did ZOS already check out for summer vacation or what happened? AWOL?

Interesting. I didn't know it was someones full time job to facilitate discussion threads between forum posters and devs. I had assumed that was only one task of out of many for these workers. Thanks for filling me in.1 -

✭✭Sarcastic and somewhat bitter answer: Busy celebrating not having to do PvP Events anymore since midyear mayhem will only come back once Performance is deemed acceptable for it.
The probably more realistic answer: Devs are probably working on the new dlc and community Managers probably dont have any relevant updates or they have updates but suspect we will not like them and would rather Keep quiet because of that.Politeness is respecting others.

Interesting. I didn't know it was someones full time job to facilitate discussion threads between forum posters and devs. I had assumed that was only one task of out of many for these workers. Thanks for filling me in.
Well, hm, you changed my words. I didn't actually say "forum posters" - I said community. That's what a Community Manager does, yes? They facilitate discussion by post patch notes, hosting ESO Live, coming out to events and chatting with us in person...
Anyway, no problemo. I'm always happy to help.

SweepsAllClowns✭✭✭✭They are doing amazing job here on the forum all the time by closing threads and removing comments (positive and constructive), I just wonder why all goes in Cyrodiil chat for years already. I haven't even seen Elsweyr since I'm unable to even log in, but I know very well that my account isn't any important or urgent issue at all, but keeping the forum civil and constructive is. Keep on the good lagging!0

Okay, so it does sound like they have quite a bit more on their plate than the full time description of, as you stated, facilitating discussion between devs and the community...but then again that's assuming we know the actual job description which it doesn't sound like we do know.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭It’s just so sad because I really think they outdid themselves with the Elsweyr zone and story. And I even thoroughly enjoy dragons now. But all of the great things in Elsweyr are struck by the permanent performance issues which are not even acknowledged.
I didn’t enjoy Morrowind or Summerset as much as Elsweyr but for me the overall stability of the game hasn’t been worse than now. Again, it’s a shame. And even worse that they seem ignorant or oblivious towards all of that...PS5EUAldmeri Dominion- Khajiit Arcanist -1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I can only assume that those claiming ZOS don't communicate at all here except to moderate threads don't bother reading Dev Tracker. They've answered a variety of topics in recent days, and so far as performance is concerned they have indicated clearly that they're aware of the problems and have a mix of short and medium term things they're working on.2 -
