There have been “in-game” issues in PVP for like years now. Never stopped them from running the event before. Heck, the group finder wasn’t working either yet they ran the random dungeon event. Mind boggling decisions these days from the devs.
There were a lot of complaints about that event because of issues with group finder. So you want them to listen to complaints to fix server issues but not listen to complaints about events not working properly?

https://youtu.be/WpE_xMRiCLE This is a loose, loose situation for PvPers. Thanks for that...
I was really looking forward to Midyear Meyham, but also dreading it for all of the exacerbated issues. What had it been three years since the first Cyrodiil event, that was supposed to collect data in an effort to improve performance? Putting this off another year, just feel like ZOS is putting off the entire community, as performance issues are now being felt far and wide outside of Cyrodiil.
BG queues not working a significant amount of time is also just as bad as Dungeon Finder not working. Except with BGs we can't just form our own groups and avoid the system.
I would ask if there will be solutions by next year, even thought waiting longer as it has already been years on these seems absurd. Like who are we kidding at this point. Just say you have no intention of addressing the problems.
Then you can devote everything to pumping out overland and Crown Store content. I mean isn't that just about where we are anyway?

Well, more like we want them to fix the servers and game infrastructure SO that events work properly...
Well, we've been wanting them to fix it. Been warning them to fix it.
The BG queue problem has been known for at least a year. The Groupfinder problems where it breaks under heavy load have been known for a least 2 years. This isnt a new problem, even though its gotten worse in the last 6 months.

I think everyone wants that. But why would people want them to go forward with an event that will not work properly, and why would the devs have any incentive to do that knowing that people will only complain about it?

Ppl can still goto cyro and IC without an event invite ....
Only missing out on double AP which is largely worthless anyway
I thought we were going to at least have Midyear...I was really looking forward to PvP'ing for Second Legion.

I don't even know what to say here. The group finder has been busted for a long time but now all of a sudden , your going to cancel the midyear event, one of the very few PvP ones we get because of it. And then to add insult to injury, you gave us the thieves/dark brotherhood event again after you robbed bosmer of stealth just so you could make khajiit look better and sell more copies of Elsweyr.....

Yes...but unless we also get another ESO+ trial during the event, I'm certain that marketing is looking forward to some DLC sales.
