6. Yep, people are coming back, and new people are passing by. They don't pvp much, or go where the bugs matter more, those who do are usually long term players.

Also to the original post, aren't forums for complaining?

While the dev team don't own and manage the issues then there are not enough complaints threads.

Once they do then that is the only thread for that complaint that is needed.

So long as they do own it and do manage it and keep doing so.

It would be nice if when an issue arises they opened a thread in the bugs forum for that issue and tried to focus the feedback there.
From my understanding the bug logging team read that forum, but I doubt they read General Discussion as often to try and find information.

As is usually the issue, people enjoying the game are playing it, not going on the forums. I had this with WoW until BfA and started complaining myself. I’m just here now because I got into forum reading. Good hobby for insomnia.

Can't disagree but not everything is a bug.

Shite performance isn't a bug though it may be a design limitation. Us knowing this may well be painful for ZoS to admit but if we know it would at least change the tone of the conversation, if we had conversations that is.

Most of them are about incredible lag and below acceptable server performance. If all those people are having such issues then I dont believe it is a fault of ISP (internet service provider). And ZOS TOS (terms of service) "patch" is just not even hilarious... idk know what that is. As some one who plays on EU idk what to even say any more.

All the performance related complaints are justified. However, there are always a lot that are just aimed at trying to shape the game into a very specific (and unwelcome for the majority of the playerbase) style that the poster favors (faction lock is ruining the game, nerf gameplay elements for immersion purposes, make vet trials easier because it makes casuals feel bad to not be able to complete them, and so on and so on). Everyone more or less just kind of tolerated or ignored those before, but now that the forum is filled with actual legitimate complaints about all the performance issues and ZOS's lackluster response to them, all the overly whiny and unjustified complaints seem much more noticeable and their presence can feel like its clogging the forums now, when added to all the legitimate complaints about performance.

I think there are way too many complaints.

Complaints seem to be how some people learn. Some people challenge people or complain instead of asking for help, I find it really annoying myself.

Then there are justified complaint threads too; like the Necro ultimate bashing and server performance.

It might sound a little arrogant, like I’m an authority on what’s okay to complain about, but some complaints seem silly to me. Usually pvp complaints are a learning issue and after some replies they’re dropped because they get the info they need to succeed. It’s almost like they’re too proud to ask for help and instead blame the game.

Would love to see less duplicate complaints on the same subject and containing most of it to a single section of the forum like Bug Reports. I'm here mostly to see what I can learn/refine regarding knowledge of the game and find that even skimming thread titles I'm wading through loads of complaint threads. I don't need to read two hundred threads about the state of PC EU servers or lag in Cyrodiil to 'get' that all may not be well in those areas.

The complaints are valid, since new content is being churned out, with no fix for the content they've got, and a struggle to handle the content already out there. Servers are already struggling, majority of complaints I find, are people complaining about the lag, bugs that have been around forever, not getting fixed and since most of us pay a subscription, and all of us at one point or another, have bought the game, I say it is only fair to allow us to voice our opinions.

Lots of duplicate topics because they all most always get closed. That’s ZOS’ way of handling it. But hey new DLC coming soon. And another after that. Even if the base game is a horrid state.

Well, I came for help and advice. Started off knowing nothing and things like light attack weaving are counter intuitive so I didn’t pick up on it myself.

I keep coming despite there being lots of people I disagree with and things said I don’t like, but every once in a while someone drops a gem that helps a ton or I’ll learn something about the game I didn’t know. Game is definitely complex with lots of exceptions, testing everything yourself would be a full time job.

Besides, something to read while the wife’s making me watch a silly show.

The complains right now are pretty justified with how bad performance has been and ZOS' lack of transparency over it earlier in the year.

How dare people report issues they are having & ask ZOS to fix it.

You know what the healthy thing to do is? Not say a word & just quit the game to go play something else instead of actively trying to fix the problem...
