Are you suggesting that they dont qualify as support to you because they're also not doing damage and only healing/buffing?
Like, DK is overall more of a tank than a support but also has a crap ton of CC and high burst if built correctly. But that isn't support, CC is utility. Support would fall under buffs and healing.Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.0 -

Templar is a close second but a good magden helping his group is far more annoying to deal with then a good Templar imo.0 -

Sorcerer is good, but it's limited to small scale because the matriarch heals only 3 people.
Dragonknight is a bad healing class. If by support you mean healing.

negate, aoe immobilize, off heals with resto back bar.1 -

✭✭✭✭WardenPermafrost brings a slow, stun, damage, and Major Protection. Grove it's the least expensive healing ultimate in the game. Corrupting Polen brings Major Defile. Leaching Vines give Minor Life Steal. With the way these thing mechanically play, they are top of the heap for group composition support. Whether you are going strictly heals or a support with some teeth.0 -

Support classes have never been considered healers - at least not in my generation. Nor does it make much sense to me to qualify them as such. This game doesn't really have a support class - all they have is Tanks, Damage Dealers, and Healers. That is why these are typically referred to as the "Holy Trinity" of MMORPGs.
An example of a support class would be like the Loremaster from LOTRO - who specializes in crowd control or Red Mage from Final Fantasy XI - who focus on refresh and enhancement spells. I would say Night Blades personally - especially the Shadow Line. They are good are hiding, fearing, stunning... burning siege engines etc.Edited by Jeremy on June 22, 2019 10:46PM0
