They were done with their failed project and so who cares what the players that used those discords get after that right? Makes me extremely disappointed in not just the devs but the reps that did not help keep the discords open, lack of communication around this is deafening.

I can only hope that this nonsensical class representative program is about to end and ZOS starts managing feedback them selves instead of having players do it.
Can anyone provide insight into what this means for the programme? What about the related feedback threads on these forums?

There was a lot of drama, and more than a bit of deeply messed up behavior, coming out of those discords. Not (necessarily) by the Reps themselves, but by certain subsets of players who participated.
The program will (probably) continue, but the Rep discords were more of a liability than an asset.

As far as I'm aware, the Discords weren't owned by ZOS.

I assume the news broke in a Discord server somewhere? As I've not seen any posts about it.
Hmm maybe they will actually use the Official class threads now. Like say Nightblade, I skimmed over it and I don't see a single post from the class rep anywhere in the entire thread. I can't speak for all class reps as I seen some of them post in their respected threads. I mean isn't that what those threads are for though?

The Rep's job is to filter through the feedback, and hand the abstract off to ZOS for analysis. Not, necessarily, to participate in the conversation. That said, some of the reps did, also, function as community relays, passing information back to the community at large. Though that did come to a halt when the NDAs went out.

I won't lie though, using the official forums to communicate would be a better step in the right direction communication wise. Rather than using just a third party platform like Discord but that's just my opinion.

The program is a joke, you know how I know? The actual word of former class reps.

Doesn’t matter if they manage themselves or class reps. They don’t use the feedback and do what they want.
Class rep program was put in a a time when complaints of the game were at a all time high so it’s implementation essentially put a buffer between ZOS and everyone else.
Nothing matters in regards to balance anyways because the game is a performance nightmare and unplayable from 6-11cst.
