Let's be honest, ZOS has done a mistake by 'over' advertising the game or...

This can be proven by the current bugs within servers such as the guild, where hardware is just simply not enough for the current growing player population. They have added dragons to make the game appealing for skyrim players, and this has caused major issues such as them not being able to handle the load. They have done a mistake by making the game 'appeal' too much. OR IMO, the real answer is that ZOS is just at this point trying to cheese the income as much as possible before they release their next MMO title.

I mean if that wanted to fix it, they could easily fix it if it was a hardware issue but thats costs $$ and zos aren't about spending it.

They're about sucking even last drop of money from addicted players but throwing crown stores and gambling crates at everyone they can.

Just another 'AAA' dev company they went pure greedy. They can't be happy with the amount of money they make off initial sales + dlc sales etc... nooooooo. Making 3-4x the investment isn't enough for these type of disgusting company's anymore.

They all got to have games full of microtransactions that are horribly priced, $20-40 'cosmetic's, worth more that most dlc's and expansions. $120 houses and how can I forgot the Gambling Loot crates designed to exploit people addicted to gambling, or to get people hooked on them.

They all seem to want 10x+ the investment they make and anything else is unsuccessful hence why the aim isn't for a good customer experience in the game, they'll do the bare minimum to keep to game running while trying to leech as much money as possible from people.
    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

Honestly, I suspect that the appeal to Skyrim fans is actually a dimly veiled appeal to GOT fans, but I may just be a cynic.

Nope the people on their board of directors, like Robert Trump, will want to see data like units sold on the chapter versus the previous ones. To them indicators like that are strong growth and better profit margins. As long as they can see tangible numbers like that and the lip service we are killing it and 13.5 million strong, they won't care about the player experience. Only when markers like units sold on in the Crown Store and total ESO+ fall will they even ask about the game experience. Not because any care about the player, but because it effects their own personal revenue.

I do not think there is a way an MMORPG can over advertise. It can be, and seems to be the case, that they can have more success than they anticipated. But that is not the same.

In fact, none of us should be upset the game has received a large influx of new players in recent months as that is good for the game for obvious reasons.

Of course, we can all be upset and concerned about Zos' slow response starting with their slow response to the influx of players. That is where the issue lies.
