The launch was awesome. I hit "login" and did just that - logged in. That's the first time I was able to do that in MMO history dating back 15 years.2 -

The launch was amazing. It was lag free, polished, and I logged in on the first attempt and played flawlessly for a full 20 straight hours or so, then my body shut down and I needed sleep.

"Launch" is a word that could mean, on day 1, on early access, or throughout the first X amount of days. It's variable to each player and often used as a convenient excuse. "It's still launch phase" When things go south.
Which means, either way the devs should not have used such a word on such a heavy promise. Nonetheless if it means what you think it means "On the specific day 1 of launch." What's the point of promising the game could work smoothly for 1 day? We are paying for months and months.0
