Anyone Seen Anyone Use DK-Wings Lately?

I personally haven't seen any DK use that skill recently. So I was wondering what people are doing with that skill now.

I believe it was an essential skill before last patch, but now it has fallen victim to "Yeah, but I have better options" mindset.

That would be a pretty bad DK then since it mitigates a lot of damage. Max resistances, block and wings mitigates almost all damage from the projectiles.

by design youre gonna see a lot less wings since they only need t orefresh it every, what, 15 seconds? opposed to 5

its still a good ability for several reasons, just sucks not having full reflect anymore

the main hit is that the reflect obviously meant you did not suffer the secondary effects of attacks. stuns, immobilize, etc.

magicka DK is okay mostly because of a bug right now with power lash and they are able to use race against time.

stam DK is probably at one of the worst spots its been in a while, but it just kind of keeps going down hill patch after patch.

I admit I've avoided pvp since the patch... Eventually I'll adapt and L2P. Again.

Of Course wings still get used, tanks can use them to mitigate the zmaja heavy attack in cloudrest now^^

Jokes aside dfs is actually very strong still, plate is Kind of a joke with rat existing but I cant remember wings ever having 2 useful Morphs (which is a Problem for many skills tbh) at the same time.

This patch SnB wings. I get like 91% mitigation on ALL projectiles as opposed to 4. It’s a buff and don’t let anyone tell you any different.

50% mitigation on all projectiles, 50% mitigation for blocking, 20% damage reduction for blocking with a shield, another 15% mitigation from blocking projectiles with a shield. Multiplicative. Ends up 91% or so. Why wouldn’t you run wings SnB this patch?

Can't find any space for it.. Since we are a DOT class, we need several DOT/bleed skills on bars. Myself, I need 3. Also need Vigor and Rally/Cauterize for heals, and Cloak/Shuffle for Evasion. Then a hard CC Petrify/Reve Bash. 1 "spam" skill and 1 execute.

Not to mention how stamDK needs to slot several skills just for 1 buff/purpose: Fragmented Shield just for Major Mending (dmg shield is useless), Spided Armor just for Ward/Resolve (the DOT and the dmg shield is quite useless), Molten Whip just for weapon damage spam.
