Amber is timid, yet extremely playful and loves to explore. We often have animated discussions about treats and play time. When she's not dive bombing the ground, hunting unfortunate insects, or protesting her lack of treats, Amber is a permanent resident on my feet or legs.
This is my cuddle buddy, Ash. He doesn't look as grizzled in person, but either way he'll always be my scruffy and handsome gentleman. No matter where I am in the house he will seek me out and make sure he gets copious amounts of cuddles for as long as necessary. The quintessential loving lap cat.
The once undisputed queen of the house, Pebbles' reign came to an end last year when she died. She absolutely adored attention from humans and hated all other animals completely. As her loyal subject I was happy to be her kitty chariot, listen to her disdain of other fuzzy lifeforms, be chatted at constantly, and be the little spoon.12 -

✭✭✭This was mine. In this picture, taken in 2013, he is about 15 years old and he was a sweetie. He liked people and was very sociable and greeted everyone that came to visit. He liked riding around the house, such as he liked sitting on top of a big box or in the laundry cart and being pushed around the house.
He helped me feed him by leaving one morsel of food in his bowl so I would know what to place in the bowl. When we approached the bowl, he would look at the bowl, then look at me, look at the bowl, then look at me, over and over. When he was older, he left one morsel for each person in the house, so if 5 people were in the house, he'd leave 5 morsels -- 3-3, 4-4, etc. It was pretty funny and he did it everyday; I had always suspected that he could count.

✭✭✭✭✭My last old kitty - Minxlet. The "glow" happened because she was so white, and the sun on her fur - well, not to mention the OLD camera!
She got dumped up here (7k feet, mountains of southern UT) on the edge of winter in 2003. Vet said she was probably around 7. She was the best cat I've ever had.... and I've had.... um.... a lot over the years. She went to kitty heaven in January 2014.6 -
