The fact that it comes up a lot with considerable interest on both sides of the argument each time suggests that the issue of the trading system is not resolved. As such, it is likely to continue to come up at least until ZOS acknowledge that the present system needs a lot of improvements including for buyers searching the world for an item at the best price and a level playing field for PC and console players, quite apart from the usual arguments about restrictions of guild membership, price/trader fixing, and sister/ghost guilds etc.

u are writing this on a day, where zos reduced the guild history and the data from that history, bcs zos isnt able to handle requests between server and users, server issues which started 2 updates ago, when the guild interface and a better, wider item search for giuld traders got implemented and lead into an increased amount of requests to the server.

next to the fact, zos will never ever change the trader system, its not even on the "maybe we think abut it list", people should acknowledge, this wont ever happen, bcs the server would never be able to handle a global auction house.

The system needs improving, not necessarily changing. There's a big difference.

The main reason that ZOS have given in the past for not addressing this issue is that players are evenly divided on it, which is fair enough in relation to changing the system entirely. However, players are far from divided on the need to improve the present system.

Meanwhile, all the time the system remains as it is, there will be demands to change it. Personally I'd rather improve it, but the demand will always be there to change it so long as it remains as dysfunctional as it is for those not making gazillions of gold from it on PC and ZOS give no indication that they're willing to look at ways of improving it.

Nope, the reason is, most people dont gave any thoughts on the problems, except for the gm recognizing issues and mentioning problems like inflation and exploits/bots as example. All they were to most of the people is either a nuisance when complaining about it, bcs nobody cares, or they would do it for any dark creepy reasons, which helps their portmonnaie, bcs all gm are evil. Why would ZOS care for a player group, which only contains of a super small group of people. That more people now start caring is only due to the fact, that the situation is close to exploding, and also the normal traders are recognizing and facing now those problems, which ZOs had been warned from years ago already.

I personally don't care either way. A poll is a poll.
