It's not taking a long time. It's simply not loading the game. Can't even get to the character selection screen and it's been at least 15 minutes. Something is very, very wrong.

    stuck on requesting character load screen then 2049059 hours trying to load the map i'm on...

    They know about it, and are working on the issue. We just have to be 'patient' I have already given up as I stare at the loading screen and alt + tab back to these forums and await an update.

    I may go dust off the xbox one and play titanfall until later when they fix these login/load issues.

    Same, put my 2 little ones to sleep a bit ago and haven't been able to get in the game since I put them to bed. Actually it seems like every time I get time to play this game something goes wrong, is getting kind of discouraging.

    Same here; it's only one week in though. Sucks for the moment but it probably won't last.

    ha... just got the wife interested... now neither of us can get in, and she's wondering why/how I spent $160 on 2 imperial accounts... I think I hear her calling her attorneys now...
    Hearing her side of the conversation… this company cannot be real, nobody is that technically incompetent, etc., etc. … hubby must be spending dat money on prostitutes…
    don’t think this is going to end well for me… I need your fanboy help… PLEASE come to my rescue! Tell me how ZoS is doing a great job… PLEASE!!??!!!

    before the lag hit....before the bad loading timez.....i wasnt able to go to cyrodil and wipe out my enemies.....im sure u Guars want to know why.............INFINITE LOADING SCREEN OF DOOM!!! those were hard times...still hard times..............got a black screen and i was able to read some scrolls for 2 hours and it would still be loading into PVP.........then......the lag came and swept through like a vile wind................never was able to log in after that :/
