Corn Flower OP

When I see a Corn Flower I'm like: it's not a Corn Flower, it's just a water thingie or something. Then I harvest it and it's not only a Corn Flower but a double node proc.
Seriously, what just happen? Am I imagine this? Is it aliens?
It was a feeling of winning the lottery. I stopped for a moment just looking at the incoming loot on my bottom right.
I shouted out to my friends: OMG I just got a double corn flower.
After a while and things had been settled down, I had a nice time theory crafting what to do with my life. Should I sell it? Should I keep it? Should I make some interesting potions with it, and if so should I use the potions myself or sell? The options was almost unlimited, and the more and more I was thinking about it, the more I realised the power of Corn Flower. Corn Flower OP. The true flower power.

Yes, this is extremly rare. Apparently, after a lot of discussion with my friends and some heavy theory crafting, we came to a conclusion it could be from the champion point passive Plentiful Harvest - It grants the player a 10% chance to double the harvest from normal resource nodes. Idk the math, science and laws of physics behind this, but it's not something that happen every day. Just to find a corn flower itself, is remarkable, yet getting this plentiful harvest from it. Tried searching forum but didn't see anyone else got this so this might be a world first. I'm surprised it only took this amount of time for the first one to proc. I've had the double many times. Wasn't aware that I need to report it.
I picked up 5 in row last night (singles); or as I like to say "corn flower o'clock"
This is one strange post. I can spot cornflower miles away, it's more visible than most plants. I see people running past it

i doubt it will be going down.
Sure stam is better this patch, but also the whole alchemy farming on PC got nerfed hard with Elsweyr.
So i guess cornflower will stay up where it is. unless those people that stacked up on thousands of cornflowers decide to sell them all 0 -

But really congrats, those double procs are very rare. I normally have to grab those alchemy-writs, to be able to get a bunch of cornflowers.

Sometimes it will give double alchemical resin; or worms. Instead of the plant itself.

But they're hardly rare. They are easily seen a mile away. I often pick them up and, due to the forum hype I think 'hey so nice, a Corn Flower.' Then look at how many I have and wonder why they're so sought after.
The alchemical mats I seem to have the least are mushrooms.
