Seriously? You're still screwing us on bank slots? It's been 5 years.

I mostly agree that the current bank space should be fine, but I have two exceptions. We definitely need a furniture bag and all motifs should be learnable (not craftable) on any character. Like provisioning recipes are. I'm leveling 5 or 6 alts and it's really annoying to deal with all of the motifs where you need to be level 9 to even learn it.

You sure about that bud? Name two. Admittedly I haven't played every major MMO, but the only one I have that has banks for each character is WoW.

Tera does. WoW does. I recall SWTOR having this, but I haven't gone into it for quite a while. Same with Marvel Heroes, but that game is very dead and gone.

    Name 3 that don't instead.

Well, ESO obviously, BDO, GW2, B&S

What are you referencing? Is bank storage getting increased?

Nope. And that's a problem. It is inexcusable to have such limited bank space when we are forced to share across all characters. Every other MMO ever lets you have a shared bank and your own bank per character. It's been 5 years. It's not like we are playing a game that doesnt encourage alts and is brand new.

    They do?

GW2 has only an account-wide bank, and you can only buy expansions with gems.
SWL has only a character bank, also very limited without paying money.
BDO has different storages per town, which you can expand with money or contribution points. It's an interesting system, but not as practical as ESO's.

Which "every other MMO" are you talking about?

And who spends real money for storage space in this game?

idk how in those other games but in gw2 you can buy those cash shop gems for gold in gam....so anything costing those gems like upgrades to account, character or jsut items from this gem shop you can buy without spending any real money, just playing game earing gold for this if you want

RIFT too. At least back when I played (quit in 2013).

I have 400 bank slots - that's a lot. And the crafting bag has ~200 different items in it. The things that don't stack, though, can be a pain. Plus, the Transmutation Geodes.

Transmutation Geodes not stacking is silly

They do not stack because ZoS doesn't feel we should be able to transmute an entire armor suit on a whim. They want us to work for it a bit.
Or they do not stack because they are not all the same. Some might be worth one and some might be worth four. Or maybe nothing that is random when you open it can stack.

TBH We don't need the Geode's to stack. The Crystals are Currency! Why are those capped at 100! Now there's the question for you! The only other currency they cap are festival tickets. Both caps are arbitrary and punitive if you ask me.

You have access to more than egnoug space in the bank +the housse chest+the craft bag for every thing you NEED
Its your problem that you hoard everithing in the game
The ressources should be put elswhere

What resources? If the db was designed with a little aforethought, it's not a big deal.

Nothing of this response is helpful or germane to what you replied to or the topic. Mules do not need to be leveled up to gain bag space nor do they need a mount. I added tons of bag space to my necro on day one. Just transferred money to it.

Lack of bank space is one of the reasons I've not played a stamina character. I don't want to be collecting both magicka and stamina gear. And I sub.

Soooo... You don't keep the gear.... for specific characters.... in their own inventory.... rather than filling the bank.... because.... why?

You can expand your inventory with in game gold. Gear takes a maximum of 13 slots. How much gear you need for one character?

Well.... I have to say that's not always how it works for me. I keep making lowbies. So I need to keep lowbie stuff in the bank, and since I always seem to have lowbies in all three gear types that's - well.... all three sets in there. Then again, eventually I'll fill all available character slots, so it will stop at some point. 16/18 on one account, 13/18 on the other.... won't be long.

But then, I'll probably set up a third account and add characters to the pool.... it's how I roll.

I make lowbies all the time too. But I just have my crafter go make them new sets at certain levels. One may hit 14 at a good spot to take a break and make new gear. Another might hit 16 before I make them new gear. Just depends on how well the character is progressing.

Sometimes I break down the 'old' stuff, sometimes I just vendor it, but I dunno, I got plenty of mats and keep getting more so its simple to take the 5 minutes and have the crafter run off to make gear as needed. But i don't keep it in the bank. Want my bank space to be filled with 'found' items I can decon.

    Just my style

ESO Plus is great for crafting stuff, but not for common banking space.
ESO+ gives you double bank space.

It still gets full quickly. I have too many writs I can't quite do yet, gear to research on alts, recipes, other potentially useful things, etc. It fills up far too quickly.

You probably don't craft on more than a character or 2, so it may not be a problem, but even that sucks up the space, let alone all the other in game stuff I want to save and/or pass around between my characters.

Another thread? Srsly? We get it, people want more slots, account-wide achievements and a free craftbag. Thanks.

Not all of us. I want a way to get more bank space, likely for gold.

Stop hoarding every damn thing that ever drops in the game. OR buy ESO+ like the rest of us do. I have ESO+, 7 level 50s and only ~50 spaces used in the bank. If I don't need it I get rid of it. Hoarding is a psychological disorder.

The game gives all this stuff that seems useful and I am not supposed to keep it? Even just piling up surveys is likely to take more than those 50 slots, unless you run out and do them on whatever character got them immediately.

SWTOR has both. They have a personal character Storage locker that you can 'buy' up to 6 extra tabs. They also have an Account storage locker, same deal. Characters have a personal inventory that you can only add about 10 slots to.

Things are likely to change for me now. Swapping accounts and toons used to take me 10 minutes or so. Got better sat now (HughesNet instead of WildBlue) so things are lots faster. I will probably change up my previous routine - so more like what you're saying.

It's a matter of rethinking how I've done things, because the new reality hasn't really "landed" yet....
