How do you level undaunted as a DD?

Grab guildmates and do dungeon achievements. Even in core dungeons, doing nodeath + speedrun + HM triplets will make your Undaunted level skyrocket - you can fully level Undaunted in a matter of a couple of evenings like that.

I always level new chars in Dungeons, that way once I hit 50 I have around level 6 in Undaunted from completing each version of the dungeon.
I do normal pledges as they are very fast, esp with a group you know already.
And as others have mentioned, pick up the daily pledge from Bolgrul, his 5minute quests give 10 undaunted points.
(You can also share these quests if you are in a group, so you can do more than 1 per day)

Use guild finder.
Seriously, leveling undaunted with a premade group is much more productive, regardless of your role. Getting speedrun+hardmode+nodeath is a bunch of extra points, and you can't expect to get them reliably with pugs.

For Stam DD create a tank for mag DD create a healer. Just use 1 bar if your still leveling skills and trees. 1 bar all damage skills and weapon only swap to this bar end of dungeon and end of quest for the XP. the other bar full with tanking or healing skills. This I find is best, did 1 DD as DD que, the experience was more fun doing a no death hardcore speedrun was really nice on a new char but the que,,, eerruuggg

on a fresh toon without all passives and not perfected yet rotation

if feel bad even if my wife agrees to do some runs fith me on her uber tank

so instead i grab my purple-trash-tank-undaunted-leveling gear (just some heavy

fortified brass and plague doc to brainlessly get armor cap and some HP)

and go as tank while my wife can have some fun on her dd chars

and get some relax from her common endgame tank role

6 keys/day with nodeath/speedruns as bonus brings you to lv9-10 in a week max

Get a group of friends/guildmates and start doing Vet dungeons to get the no-death/speedrun/hardmode/Vet clear -- you'll get about 50 undaunted if its your first time doing the dungeon and you get all the achievements. Make sure you kill every boss in the dungeon, too. Start with FG1 and make your way down the list, you'll be maxed Undaunted before you even get to the DLC dungeons. Do a few Daily Undaunted quests along the way too in order to expedite the process.

Grab some guildies to do vet HM dungeons. Often get speed runs and some no deaths along the way. it is the fastest way to level it up. Speed leveling.

I do pledges when I can, but typically I just find a group to burn through all the Non-DLCs on vet one time. I also will often just turn my DPS into a tank (not a fake tank, an actual tank), to make things go smooth. I find that one hard day of dungeon running, and a weeks worth of non DLC pledges will get you there. It's also a good time to actually L2P your new toon. haha

Undaunted is easy if you know the strategy. Queue as a tank. Don't do City of Ash 2 or other hard dungeons.

Magicka can tank in armor master and plaque doctor. Only need 1 sword and shield skill, pierce armor.

Stamina tanks in Ebon and endurance jewelry.

Simple.

If magicka -- queue as healer.
If stamina -- either queue as tank or respec to magicka and queue as healer.

That said -- I've been playing since beta and only have three characters I've ever bothered to get all the way to Undaunted 9.

Focus on core dungeons, do the dlc in normal unless after jewelry / monster set. Or obviously as an challenge.
Remember that dungeon achievements are one time on character so you will not get this bonus again.
Check your log, vCoA1 with no achievements because some died jumping from tree, forgot HM and some other was AFK and dps was pretty low.

Not sure what the problems are, My missus just hit 160 after starting playing 2 weeks ago. We are both dps and are at level 7 /8 undaunted. 2 dps using group finder gets almost instant que in and we share the bogroll daily. There are ways around it if you try.

I'm currently in the making of a new MagDK (since a few days back). I'm currently lvl 8 with Undaunted, got max lvl only 3 days ago. Since then I'm constantly in queue for the dungeons I need (finished everything on Normal mode, for easy skill point) while I'm gathering Lore Books and Skyshards.

To be clear -- each dungeon has multiple possible achievements that advance Undaunted, including:

-- Doing the dungeon
-- Doing it in vet mode
-- Doing it in hard mode
-- No-death run in vet mode
-- Speed run in vet mode
-- Something about coming back many times and killing mobs that I never pay attention to

I presume these count for 10 Undaunted points each per dungeon; somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

One tricky thing -- different achievements require different combinations of bosses. Generally, if you skip bosses you're likely to miss out on speed run and no-death achievements. And hard mode requires killing a single boss only.

I doubt that's enough to get very high in Undaunted Rank, but good idea for getting a few extra Undaunted points!
