How do you level undaunted as a DD?

Or just do pledges? finding groups is insanely hard, no matter what guilds you are in. Just keep searching for hours everyday and many days cant find any.

Its so frustrating and such a waste of time, not to mention if after all that you get a bad group.

Queue is also crap, in low traffic times it works bur there are few people and in hogh traffic time its broken.

Can't even get my new necro to level up undaunted for day.

There has to be some solo mode for dungeons or a way around that crappy system

I fully leveled a magden sonly by doing the daily solo quests.

i do all dungeons once on normal when leveling to 50... that gets it at about 5 or 6 (i also go into normal Hel Ra alone to kill the first ad groups and get trial damage dealer and trial healer achievements and i do the Drink's on Me achievement) Then when veteran i do about 10 dungeons with as many speedruns/no death runs as possible >> undaunted at 9

I know it would take forever, but Bolgrul's daily delves level undaunted, don't they?

Bogroll (Bolgrul, I know) runs. Get a group together, one gets quest, shares. Do the dungeon, return, hand in. Next player takes a quest and shares, rinse /repeat. Sometimes a player won't get a quest as the one they would have gotten, you've just done. Just move on to the next groupie.

Bogrolls are just delves, easy in/out.

Re roll your toon as a tank I've dont that on over 10 toons to get them to level 10 undaunted

If mag just get some basic healer gear and you are good to go.
Stam get tank gear maybe put points into hp.

I usually run the vet dungeons for the achievements. Do pledges along the way. Usually takes me a few days to a week depending on how many and how fast I want to run.

Just throw in some skill points , shield + sword and do all quests in normal dungeons while leveling to 50.
Easy as pie.

This. I level all my characters as DPS then respec them to tanks (if stamina) or healers (if magic) to grind out dungeons/undaunted. It's not even a full respec really, just a gear swap and trading out a few different skills.

If you have decent gear and are above cp300 there are usually one or two normal pledges that are easily soloable each day. Levelled undaunted on my magplar, magsorc and stamblade that way.

I switch to a proper tank for about two weeks, until I've got all the dungeon skill points and Undaunted level 10.

i make my toons as a tank temporarily, you only need like lvl 30 in snb...

Honestly, for most pledges you can slap on sword and board back bar with pierce armour. Then use whatever skills you want to DPS. Bump health up a bit and just block bit hits. Queue as tank and taunt hard hitting enemies.

I tank most randoms with 7th legion and vicious ophidian. Keep aggro and do decent DPS.

I have.... FRIENDS who I do the dungeon achievements with most of the time we are 4DDs, sometimes a tank or healer instead, knowing my friends and I we can do no deaths easily without tanks and heals so we just roll through the ones that don't require a tank or heal at all (most nonDLC ones and WGT)

Unless you're a pauper, the cost of a skill point reset is negligible. So, assuming you're high-enough Level/CP to unlock most dungeons, and you have more than one character, convert the one you're trying to level to an actual tank. Run one random, and then the non-DLC pledges at first, until you get a feel for tanking, and once you've gotten the hang of it, try some vet pledges, especially on the easier dungeons, to get the hard-mode achievements and the extra Undaunted reputation points. Once you're at Undaunted 9, since there's really no point in getting to 10 unless you want the title, convert back to DPS, unless you've decided that the tank life is for you.

Find a good guild, be friendly, play with them often.
Easiest and most fun way + no need group finder, just direct TP.

Umm, what's the problem? The queue wait times are 30-45 minutes for me on PC EU. I just quest during wait time.

Pledges work, but I would suggest focusing on the achievements first. I am pretty sure delves and public dungeon achievements also count toward the Undaunted skill line, too. So go do those while waiting for the queue to pop.

I did daily vet pledges (much more points than normal) ask in zone or guild chat if anyone wants to queue with you. For me I find the areas where you get the pledges for example stormhaven get quick responses.
This is especially true during peak hours of gameplay I will get multiple responses, more than I need because plenty of dps are in the same boat of long queues. Even two dps queing together massively cuts queue time, often a minute for me max has been less than 5 min. I only have dps characters and since I've started doing this I've never needed to wait.

Yep, best advice to give. Everyone has 5 guild spots. Find a super active guild and you will have no issues finding people

Solo vet pledges, easier ones like fungal grotto 1, CoA 1 etc. you can just do vetHM as well, did like 3-4 chars to undaunted 9 like that and got plenty of nodeaths on the way as well.

Plus right now there is the new guild finder.

It has allowed a whole bunch of people who like/want to do dungeons to find our guild. We are now fuller and busier than ever. It certainly makes it easier for people to find active guilds doing what they enjoy.

To level Undaunted you need to do Undaunted pledges or get dungeon achievements, once you have done the first intro to the Undaunted quest at L10 or so. So you can go in, solo FG1 and you’ll get a certain amount of Undaunted points for completing the dungeon, if it’s also a pledge you get more, if you do it on vet, HM, speed or no death you get more etc.

You don’t even need to use the group finder, just get a group and walk right on in.

Even though there are loads of people questing in Elsweyr, there are also loads who, like you, need to level their new toons, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding people.
