Well, this does not work.
Guessing we'll be seeing an overpriced 'hide your vampirism' skin in the crown shop soon?
I have an idea, ZoS, how about you stop screwing around with stuff that isn't broken and try fixing some of the multitudes of $h!^ that actually is!

Some players want the benefits, but not the bleached white look.
Especially if they are a cat or lizard. In these cases, being a Vampire wrecks whatever time they put into their cat/lizard by not only bleaching them white, but by also making it pretty hard to see any body markings you applied.

They should really just give players the option to hide their Vampirism. It would make a lot of players happy. I has no negative impact on the game itself than I can tell. It even seems to be "lore-friendly" since NPC vampires seem capable of hiding it as well.

I think it could. I actually believe this is where the devs are going next with the new additions to the justice system. They even mentioned in a stream a few months back that the necromancer's interaction with the justice system was a test of sorts.
First certain Necromancer abilities. Next being a stage 4 in town causes a bounty. I'd wager we get a vampire dlc (similar to how they did WW with WolfHunter dlc) in which the vampire skill line is adjusted and new skills are added or reworked. I forsee a charm skill added that when slotted on your bar and used would cause you to look human. It's lore friendly and it would give players a way to look normal but at a cost.

I look forward to them adding Stage 4 to the "Not in my town" justice bounty system. Choices should have consequences.
I'll try to explain it clearly. Being a vampire in TES is NOT inseparably linked with altered appearance all the time. Not only there aren't any statements in the game that should be the case for player characters, there are enough vampire NPCs who can hide their nature perfectly. Why choose to be a vampire if you don't want to look like one? I honestly don't understand.
No, only recently. Maybe, in the first Elsweir patch, maybe one or two small patches later.Colecovision wrote: »didn't this change happen over a year ago?
