Illuvatarr✭✭✭✭✭YesActually, it isnt baiting at all. It is 100 percent serious and an interesting question of our time as it relates to video games. ESO and ZOS have a done a remarkable job of not objectifying female bodies, not body shaming, respecting the rights of children by not depicting them in game....and this is in stark contrast to other mmos where characters, especially female characters, are objectified and sexualized (is that a word lol?) in an inappropriate manner.
I think they are at the forefront of leading this charge for good in video games and I think it should apply to all groups, not just those historically objectified or stereotyped. Tropes underlie trends and trends can lead to a dangerous place, a dangerous zeitgeist, when influence makers aren't aware or concerned with their social impact.Edited by Illuvatarr on May 31, 2019 3:34PM3 -
