Already canceled the 180 day sub. Had to reup just to get my thirty days free. Customer service so bad has already sucked all the joy of this game from me. I was in a fever to play the first 10 days. Until I started getting locked out by login failure. I must have the most dynamic ISP address in the world. Locked out 17 times 17 codes sent that never worked. Can't think of a reason to stay. I'm getting into the game now but all the rest of the problems seem to be getting worse. I did 4 betas I actually think it was better then.

I can totally understand how down that experience made you feel, but personally I can't agree with your last sentence.

I was very very nervous after the past few betas as quest after quest was impossible to complete due mainly to spawning issues or not being able to interact with mobs.

To me, the released version is 1000 times better. Sure there's a few bugged quests but nothing like the problems we had in beta.

The only thing worse is the gold sellers.

Could it be that your understandable frustration/night mare issues getting into the game and dealing with support has made you so understandably down about the whole game, that every time you encounter a bug, your blood boils purely due to what you've been through, rather than it really being worse than Beta?

I suspect that the OP question will be irrelevant in a few months. The reason ? There won't be a subscribe option as it will be a FTP game.

I have cancelled and won't be playing past the free time I have already paid for.

Yeah, I got a PC. I just don't feel the need to post it's specifications for an ego boost.

I see your point about mechanics, but I never had a problem with immersion. I was so crazy to play this game early access was great and first 5 days absolutely great. Then the loggin problems started, the codes that never worked. I was a fool I actually stayed home for two days waiting for a phone call. Numerous tickets and e-mails never answered or snarky role-playing bots deciding my issue was resolved while I had never been contacted.

Whomever designed that sentence to be the first thing a customer sees, that after waiting so long to get back in, to be confronted by the words "we will assume your issue has been resolved if we don't hear from you..." I am amazed they could not hear me in Maryland from Colorado.

Now my only concern is how soon do I have to really cancel my sub so I won't be charged. I saw in another forum thread about the tricky way the TOS is worded about notice to cancel and when does the thirty day period start. It's only 15$ but I can get some good Aussie yogurt with that much money.

I don't want to un-sub, but since the email authentication email system is so screwed up, I don't have access to the stupid game. I will most likely be forced to not only un-sub but seek refund. Not because I don't like the game, but because I am forced too be locked out and have ZERO Customer Support other then canned responses.

ended my sub too many gameplay design issues that take immersion away in higher content.

I am ending my sub! if they add a single player version without the MASSIVE game breaking bank bug... I was ok with quest bugs, but I lost 60k and 30 blue, purple and gold mats in the bank loss.

I agree with you, this game will be ftp in the next 6 months

From my point of view, i bought the game for pvp. In the current state, Cyrodiil is broken and playing pvp now is a real adventure since you may not be able to login due to loading screen issue.
On the other hand, they had that stupid option to retreive another 15 bucks from my account for a "verification" (ye, right).
If something will not be done in these matter...sure i won't waste any more money on this weird EA-style company...

How many times have I heard that in an MMO! In fact, I bet that the game will stay sub for well over that and I pray that it never goes FTP. I will even pay £20 a month to stop them turning it FTP because no mmo is really FTP with the exception of STO which you can play pretty much for free.

Yeah, this game wont go f2p, and if it does, I wont play. F2P pretty much = pay 2 win, and it becomes micro transaction hell.

It's already micro transaction hell, do you really think it took 15 dollars worth of work to resin a mount? If you think that's all they have planned for there cash shop you're crazy.

It'll go FTP, I'm assuming they haven't met expectations with sales or subs, otherwise they'd be advertising it.

Posting a small update on this....

Working through the 30 days and I think that is it for this game. This morning I logged in while having me coffee and muffin. I was nervous about the bank bug since the bots are consuming many of the resources. I still had me bank items and the game was smooth as silk. Okie...perhaps they resolved some things. I was happily trotting around doing quests and nabbing resources when I could (bots and players)....happy and dandy.

Combat was back to normal and in quirky Elder Scrolls style of swinging and casting. Played for over two hours with all three of me characters and no issues. THEN....for no understandable reason the games takes a freak pill....several actually. Invisible enemies, strange things....only logging out and restarting the game resolves these. Log back in and things are good for 10 minutes at most...then back to logging out. NEVER have had any Disconnects. Just all of these strange problems....cannot complete quests because of many invisible NPCs.

I logged into both LoTRO and SWTOR to see if any issues exist....not one in either. Log back into ESO and within 10 minutes things freak out.

As far as I can tell...it freaks out in populated player areas OUTSIDE of the city confines but no real substantial proof here just a simple guess as to this seems to be where things get ugly. I have no characters above 15 but have them spread about and it happens to each in all places/zones.

This game is quite a lot of enjoyment. Well worth the money I paid for it ($80 edition).....if the game was stable enough to play. As of this moment ESO is a ripe turd. Perhaps when they have pissed enough people off and have optimized their networking technology this will be a very good place to spend days kicking back and enjoying a guild/war/rp/questing.

Thanks for the read and all of your opinions.
