Here's your new car. Check out that shiny fresh paint, that new car smell. Go ahead, sit in it, you paid for it. The brakes work, so do the lights. And the turn signals, and the windshield wipers, even the radio. It all works. Oh, you want to drive it? Well, the engine will be here in 2 weeks. Maybe. Then we have to install it, if we can figure out how.

Sadly, this is the attitude of a large part of corporate America. There's never time to do it right, but there's always time to do it again. And again. Later. Maybe in 2 weeks. We'll see if we can fit it into our schedule; the guy who does the thing you need is really busy.

I'd say there's no excuse, but that's not true. People keep paying money for poor products and services. And in a lot of cases, there is no alternative, so you get what you get, not what you pay for.
ZeniMax has no obligation to correct any errors or defects in the Services.

Greetings! We've closed this thread due to its non-constructive nature.

I can not even take the Pledge DLC now.

One step foward and two steps back, typical of ZOS.

    The necro uses AI.

It's not simply adding or subtracting damage numbers, or adding buffs/debuffs.

Things like Blastbones will take a while.

Then, imo, they should have waited until the class skills fully worked as intended. I understand little things here and there will need to be tweaked, but BB is an extremely important skill.

    - Blastbones pathing and delay needs to be addressed
    - Corpse ground targeting removed and replaced with a "consume nearby corpse" cost on Tether/Siphon
    - Add a class Major Sorcery buff somewhere in their toolkit (this is a standard buff, it's inexcusable to be missing)
    - Siphon and Tether need to return an actual net gain of resources from using them
    - faster casting animation and travel speed for Flaming Skull and its morphs

Since templar doesn't have Major Sorcery either, I'm going to guess this isn't going to be considered for a "fix.

Yeah. It seems that ZoS isn't out of the Crunch Culture mindset. Crunch doesn't mean you're a team of people who "get things done". Crunch means you've mismanaged your time and resources, perhaps attempted to do too much given your workforce's capabilities. Crunch = Poor Upper Management.

Goliath bash is silly. It needs to be adjusted. Other than that, the class is great minus bugs. I think it does have a tremendous learning curve however.

That does seem to be true. It also has free will apparently, and can choose whether or not it wants to attack.

A better implementation IMO would be for it to function like a player using a gap closer (like Crit Charge with a two handed). There’s no reason why it needs delays, or pathing, it should just go from point A to point B.

    @WrathOfInnos

I was going to say that for aesthetic purposes, watching your BlastBones follow you before running to an enemy would be cool. Then I realized that BlastBones needs a target to be cast upon, so that's useless anyway.

Yeah, making it a psuedo pet that just does the leap animation is fine. Not targeting a player specifically, but, like charges , targeting an area and then doing AoE damage (Like NB Lotus Fan).

It would be cool if you could summon it like the mage, but the moment you attack something, it runs at them and explodes.

Since templar doesn't have Major Sorcery either, I'm going to guess this isn't going to be considered for a "fix.

I was waiting for someone to use this bogus excuse. Templar not having access to Major Sorcery is just as bad and to be fair they should have it, too. That said, Templars at least have access to Minor Sorcery. By comparison, the Necromancer class has neither buff and is forced to essentially chain-chug potions to deal damage. That is completely unrealistic and unreasonable for the average player.

Also before you even bother, I'll save you the trouble: The thought of putting Entropy on your bar for Major Sorcery is just as bad in the Necromancer's case because several of its passives require slotting specific abilities. Adding another ability slotting requirement would strain the already narrow range of build options for the Necromancer.

And yet again ZOS ignores us and fixes nothing of relevance! Group finder still crap, DC's, Blastbones damage. Yesterday our whole trial team got DC'd from NMOL and the trial reset on us and we were on 1.5% left on Rahkat :(

I should not be surprised ZOS never fixes anything that needs fixes.

Probably. Have you seen the Jump animation they occasionally do if they attack while sprinting? It could probably manipulate that.

It was the first week of real beta (PTS was really an alpha test). They will look at the logs, feedback and reports and start the nerfing/adjusting process with next week's patch.

I haven't made a necro yet. I figure we have another couple of weeks of live beta testing before the nerf/adjusting starts to stabilize. After that, I'll start thinking about creating a necro.

I'm not seeing anything on necromancer blast bones ability. Other then an npc blast bones thing.
We're still working on a fix for Blast Bones.
Where is the fix for being incorrectly charged 150,000 AP to make a Cyro campaign home?

EDIT: this appears to have been stealth fixed

Yeah, they didn't mention it but it appears fixed, at least for all my characters affected
Ah, apologies for leaving this out. Yes, this was also fixed.

Awesome thanks for the reply. Wasn't too worried about it but yeah I kinda noticed that at times it takes its time going to the enemy. Was wondering about that fix and glad you guys are still working on it.

No fix for the recently reintroduced Uncontrolled spinning on loading for the Mac

But hey I’m stoked that the new motif won’t be dropping quite as much from the dailies.

This one happened to me yesterday, I had to creep over to the portal and zone back into Hall of the Lunar Champion. Which was sooo hard, the slightest mouse movement left or right would sent in uncontrolled spinning with character moving away from portal.

After the patch yesterday the lag became so much worse. As well as fps drop tremendously. I usually have 80-100 fps, and after the patch it's all over the place, from 30 to 60, and it's all jerky when they suddenly drop for no reason.

It's not really awesome to play when all that happens.

Maybe we can agree that instead of focusing on trash issues like this they could actually fix something meaningful?

    Fixtures
Improved the resolution and textures on carts found throughout Elsweyr

Easy fixes are still fixes. Something has been improved and that's good. I don't want to wait until they've fixed all the big items for them to update the easier ones.

The team that fixed this isn't the team that is going to fix the Group Finder.
