Animation Cancelling feels Horrible and Pointless

✭✭My whole thing on a MagDk is this. If a skills animation is longer than 1 second, I don’t care how pretty it looks, I want it over so I can get on with another attack or a buff or debuff or SOMETHING.
I don’t want to look at pretty animations while some drooling tbagging bro-tard is trying to KILL me. I want to kill that fool and read his hate tell and get on with my day. Lol.1 -

I'll give you a couple of pointers. The words you are looking for are GCD, instant skill, skill resolution point.
I understand it, it just feels horrible looks horrible plays horrible and serves no purpose other than to boost dos with a fake cast. It's a trashy mechanic for combat thay was not polished.
So.. have you never played mortal combat or any other fighting game that utilizes a set of buttons to perform a combo? Think of light attack weaving as one long, drawn out combo. You literally just hit the light attack button between skills..
If you have any kind of problems with doing this simple task, then I bid you good day, and farewell. Don’t let the fictional door hit you in the bum on your way out.
P.S if you’re a quester/casual player, then there’s literally no reason for you to concern yourself with this or complain about it. What do you get out of complaining? Why is this such a bad concept to you? Is it just because you can’t do it so you’re jealous? I don’t get these kinds of posts.

2) I then say how i dislike AC and how it's not intended but was accepted which it was.
3) I get people telling me to quit the game and giving me other insults
So who is baiting who? and who are the ones acting childish? I can;t help people who have mental issues and can;t handle their rage and impulses to constantly insult people who do not like every single thing they love and try to deny it's problems because of their zealotry. I'm sick of people from GW, WoW, FF, SW telling people to quit the MMO and have the door hit you on the way out because you dislike anything from an animation to a single quest in a game it's ridiculous and shows how snowflake the modern world is... tommalmm✭✭✭Just a hint. You don't have to spam the ability nor light attack. It helps if you've got unstable latency, but is definitely not needed.
Also, getting used to new animations takes some time usually. Seconds to hours. Some just feel clunky and require more practice to get it right.0 -

kvirus11✭✭✭I weave just fine with my magcro. Have zero issue AC with a destro staff but I also don't actively try to do it every single cast. I'm not trying to sap every last ounce of dps to be #1 best #1
Why does this entire thread smell of a covert you tuber/twitch user mad they can't figure out how to AC a criminal act skill in town to duel for their followers...
I can't see a need to actually 100% perfectly AC skulls as it's like the warden bird that Ani is still an object in flight, and the only reason I can see anyone trying to ruin a left click with a necro is to figure out an exploit for the criminal acts animations. Stam or magica dps and not a healer. I have zero need to AC on any healer.
I've watched videos of other ESO builders and evidently I am doing what ever they do and my dps is on point. So this is either a I don't know what I'm doing thread, I'm doing it to prove a point it's a bad mechanic thread and I'm suddenly on a soapbox, or I can't bypass the criminality of the necro by AC therefore it's a bad mechanic.
Either or it's still comical. I enjoy waking up to these threads. Always good to start the day with a laugh.0 -

You were just trying to bait people into an anti animation cancel thread. I have no problem having that discussion, but don't bait people with fake threads.
As far as people telling you to quit the game, it might just have something to do with you being rude to people and creating bait threads.

May I remind you, that you yourself made sure to ask for help first, then identify your age as 29 " and don't have time for these comments" and continued your assault on AC and comments. After the initial post, no where do you actually ask for help. Sounds like someone who can't do something for a totally hidden agenda, pouting about it and being combative when called out versus actually requesting assistance.

✭✭✭✭✭If you want to play the game and complete all the content, including Trials and PvP, you do not need to weave or cancel.
If you want to reach the leaderboards for Trial runs, then you need to Weave and Animation Cancel.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
