[Discussion] Questing and overland PVE content in general needs a serious change - my two cents

That would require work, too much work. ZoS doesn't want to work, ZoS wants more stuff in the crown store.

I can't get any of my friends to play the game with me because the Overworld is so easy it's a snooze fest.

Yeah, comments like this are why I keep this post updated and link it regularly. Not to have it necroed (please don't anybody), but to keep track of the suggestions made for a solution

OP, this is pointless, ESO has huge lobby of players who want to listen to dialogues in overland without gameplay. Just ditch this part of the game. There are ton of group content in ESO which is actually enjoyable and challenging, overland solo unfortunately is a snooze fest and devs only decrease it's difficulty with each year.

"First things first, I think that ESO triumphs over other MMOs in terms if its questing content. Stories and experiences are weaved in a very organic way, leading you to become attached to the characters and stories, making questing a very engaging experience.".

It's interesting, I have never felt that with ESO at all, the npc's and the quests seem bland and boring, they dont spark any feelings of attachment or empathy really. What I get from the game is atmosphere, which is pretty good imo, that's what I enjoy the most, the atmosphere.

I really do agree on the difficulty. Overland content, which is to say that great big huge outdoor world, you know 90% of the actual game world space, is just so ridiculously easy. It's not interesting at all, but I guess this is what the masses want. It seems to work in terms of player numbers and business success.

People have said that about other features.

    *shrug*

Still, I'll continue keeping track/keeping it updated since the issue keeps coming up
