A lvl 50 character is pretty quick and easy. Many had their necros leveled to 50 on the first day.
Zos has added sky shards to the crown store and pretty sure they said this was a test. I expect they will offer guild lines in the future. This will allow players to pick and choose what they want and how much they are willing to spend.

You are aware unlike other games with this this is a sandbox mmorpg and a lot of the pve content consists of the open world right? This would litterally complete the game for you.
A level boost should not exist, espically not one with that level of completion, may I also add, considering buying skyshards alone.
Your looking at paying like £100+ per character.

As far as I'm concerned, they might as well start putting gear in the cash shop. There's no reason not to. They've already plagued this game with pay-to-win microtransactions, but the stupid skyshards brings it to a new and very unfortunate level. I'm about out of patience with it. I think it is disgusting how much these sorts of things have become conditioned as normal in the gaming world. Kids growing up these days won't even have a bloody clue about how things used to be and think it is normal to be sucked dry by a game or to pay-to-not-play and pay-to-win with microtransactions. Urgh.

Sacred words, my brother. It's how I'm feeling right now, skyshards just went beyond limits

So you're asking ZOS to add something you don't want?
In your first post you say that you don't know why the game doesn't already have a character boost, that it could be balanced and many games have it already - all making it sound like something you not only want but expect to have available. Now you're agreeing with someone saying even skyshards is going too far and these things should never be in the game at all. Which is it?

I actually think they should add a Character boost. ZoS is going thru the way of P2W game, at least the character boost is something much more useful than skyshards and as P2W as skyshards are. I don't know how can some people actually accept the skyshards in game, but refuse character boost because considered cheesy

I can almost get the skyshards thing, becayse if there is a zone (ie Cyrodil) that you just HATE, you can bypass it as long as you have done it at least once.
The pay for insta LVL 50 would be a game ender for me.

Yea, the character grind itself isn't hard or struggling, the problem are guild skill lines and since they added skyshards already as a way to grind less I don't see why they shoulnd't add a boost for some skills

Honestly, meanwhile what you said makes sense, I don't really agree with it. You don't have to unlock ALL skyshards on ALL your characters. There's no point in doing that, at least in my opinion, so you can literally just avoid zones you don't wanna grind skyshards in

Your looking at paying like £100+ per character. It would annoy almost every player immediately. Specially considering how pay to win it would be considered
Nah, I think a class swap function would serve this much stronger.

Levelling in this game is too easy to have a character boost. There's so many different methods you can do to level faster. You can use all training gear, farm the most efficient spots, get a friend or use the abundance of XP scrolls gained from daily rewards.
As for skill points, get the skyshard addon and get all the overland ones. Doesn't take that long, even if you have a low mount speed.
