I haven't noticed much change with ambush, but I sorely miss the stun it applied.Shadowasrial wrote: »How is the gap closer performing? Ambush now does minor vulnerability for 8 seconds and is more easily spammable with the removal of minimal distance

I main a stamblade so I will die with the class.
I already see my future as a stamblade, no trials, no dungeons, no pledges, its like having the plague or whatever the counterpart in eso.
Meanwhile ppl pulling 90k dps on raid dummy in elsweyr patch... lol...this forum is bunch of whine

What the poster above me said about Slimecraw got me thinking though-- perhaps these changes will let people explore alternatives to the meta setups that were much stronger than most everything else pre-Elsweyr, both in terms of gear and rotation. For once there may be other options besides Focus, AY, etc.
At a purely emotional level though... It still hurts for no particularly logical reason.

You need someone to debuff the dummy with major fracture

I've played stamblade since beta, and my sustain has never been worse. It's absolutely awful, in fact. I initially had no opinion on the changes because I kept reading mixed feedback, and it felt okay-ish on the PTS with BiS gear. I can now say that I hate it on live.

Try nightmothers, vo and slimecraw and have fun giving fracture to everyone all at the same time. Power extraction is your friend. For single target fights I ditch it for hidden blade.
They changed the class. If all you do is take your old setup and go, you may have been nerffed something fierce. To avoid that, take a fresh look at the skills and how you approach fights. We aren't weak in pve.
So they really did remove the npc stun from ambush

Why people refuse to think and realize that what they offer is to sacrifice an existing, actually useful five-piece in order to regain something that class used to have - in other words, to throw away a full set simply to remain at the point where the class has been pre-nerf. It's like there are indefinite gear slots and one simply slaps on NMG without having to choose between that and the set that was in its place before.
Next time they'll decide to give shields a cast time, I'll simply say "just wear Iceheart, why wouldn't you" instead of pushing back against the nerfs.
Hehe I’m cancelling my eso plus because they are ruining the game for me I’m not quitting they just aren’t getting any support from me anymore 🙂Deathlord92 wrote: »Well if my stamblade unplayable then there’s nothing left for me in eso either way these nerfs suck so I’m cancelling my eso plus when Elsweyr comes to console I’m not supporting something I won’t enjoy.
Can i have your stuff?

Yes, but it now gives minor vulnerability. Considering only trash used to get stunned, try this. Mark the trash, ambush, power extraction, killer blade. It's a buff.John_Falstaff wrote: »Colecovision wrote: »For stamblade, it's easier to solo vet dungeons than it was before, but the final boss take longer to kill. vMA is fine, please wear appropriate attire. But SA had single target fracture and NMG + power extraction is giving it out aoe.
