Need a much larger Ignore list

I have hit my limit on the Ignore list due to the gold spammers. We could really use a much larger Ignore list.

WTB larger Ignore list!

As fast as I make some space available. by trying to delete some of (what i hope) are the older spammers, it fills right back up again.

Today (Fri 4/11) has been especially brutal. I'm getting hit from all sides: chat spam, mail spam and guild invite spam. LOL

    What's the limit?

I've heard 50, but never had solid confirmation.

What kind of online interactive service has an ignore LIMIT? :\
    Daggerfall Covenant: Fork-Stealer, Argonian Dragonknight
    Aldmeri Dominion: Kadigan, Bosmer Nightblade
    Let's be civil, shall we?

Zenimax outsource code slave #1*: I am coding the ignore list.

Zenimax outsource code slave #2*: That sounds spectacular. Hopefully code boss will not whip you for impertinance.

    Z O C S #1: What data type can I use for this?

    Z O C S #2: I only know array.

    Z O C S #1: Sounds good. Let's just make it 100 long.

    Z O C S #2: That is the highest number I have ever heard.

    Z O C S #1: All hail glorious global economy.

I haven't put anyone on my ignore list.

I just ignore the chat box. (Except in Cyrodiil  )
'Clever' sigs get old real fast - just like this one.

Limit is 100, I hit it a couple days ago thanks to SpamFilter, and had to start figuring out which were old goldspammer accounts and which were people who probably still played that I didn't want to have to read their ***.

this shouldnt be a problem once they get on the banning cause the banning should remove them from any and all in game things including youre ignore list. I hit my limit before the 9th and after the 9th I was able to ignore again. I wish I could see exactly how many ignore slots I have so I can figure out how many of the ones I ignored and reported were banned.

IMO Zenimax also should remove the accountnames form all ignore lists when the user is banned for violating the EULA. That would save us a lot of space on the /ignore list. Not to mention a lot of other MMORPGs already fo this automatically...

I have nothing but gold sellers on my ignore list and it's been full for 3 days now. You cannot "remove the top ones" because it's alphabetical and you have no idea who has already been banned or not. For Dominion gold sellers in Auridon chat is absolutely horrible. Then there's the DAILY 4-15 mails + Guild invites from gold sellers. This has got to be fixed, I shouldn't have to install an addon because of a limited ignore list, after installing a chat spam filter I realized that won't even work since all they do is auto ignore based on certain parameters, and since we're capped to 100 ignores we're stuck watching chat, mail, guild invites pile up with gold sellers until they fix it.

    [insert rant about outsourcing]

Anyway, back on topic. I totally agree that we need the limit lifted on our ignore lists. At least until they have the gold sellers banned and crying for their mommies.

Plus, lifting the limit would also buy them more time to deal with them, without people going more nutty about it.

Best part, limit is client sided - so why the hell make it? We are not interfereing with database, so, why have a limit in the first place?

NEEDS TO BE MUCH, MUCH LARGER. I.E. 100,000 or unlimited.

I figured out a short term solution, remove all 100 of your ignores and then whomever you see spamming gold sales re-ignore them. It's likely at least SOME of those original 100 are gone now. It's not much more than putting a band-aid on the gash left from getting your leg cut off but it's something. You can do this as often as you need to, but I'd say once every time you cap it again should be a reasonable option.
