Edit: low lvl characters may experience the nerf. At max level and max passives the skill is buffed to 3 seconds. Before that it is too costly to use every 1 or 2 seconds.
My magBlade got jebaited again .. cloak is decreased before max lvl to 1 and 2 seconds from 2.5 seconds and I can feel the difference. Used it mainly for sneaking past mobs for gathering and speedfarming. (no I don't PvP and never liked the ganking style - just to be clear about that) My Kajiit RP / fun guy is RIP-ed now

Dark Veil: Adjusted this passive to grant a flat 1 and 2 second duration increase to Shadow abilities, rather than 8 and 15% duration extensions. The duration of these abilities before allocating this passive have been adjusted to ensure the total duration remains relatively the same to their current Live values.
Sneaky change and I am NOT happy.

ScruffyWhiskers✭✭✭✭✭You might want to check and see that you are leveled up in the passive. I logged in to check and the tool tip says 3 seconds now at max rank. I did my normal count in my head while cloaking and there is no difference.2 -

So the duration increases the more this skill ranks up? Because for my lvl 22 NB the the duration suddenly went down to one second. That was very confusing.

Auros✭✭✭OK never noticed it is not max levelled, maybe because of the RP effect ...
Edit: I just counldn't believe I have maxed undaunted to 10, but not Shadowy Disguise ... (a proof that I am not using it in fights)
My lvl 29 NB has 1 sec and the other one 2 secs. Which means before I lvl it up its almost useless.

Calffrey✭✭✭It’s a buff after you can grab the +1 and +2 seconds passive at shadow level 39 and level 50 ... but for new NB and low level NB this change makes using cloak too expensive.
A 1 second cloak just doesn’t make sense, and waiting until level 39/50 to finally use your class’ signature skill isn’t helpful to new players.0
