Blue Dragon imp pet - disappearing

I seem to be losing this new pet after a while... it just disappears and never comes back until I reset the pets or use the wayshrine to port to entirely new zone.

question: where are you when this happens. I know, back when murkmire came out, my non-combat pets would despawn whenever I entered certain delves or adventure areas, though it wasn't clear why.

✭As far as I know, pets should be with you 24/7 except when going to PVP areas. So losing your pet in delves is not normal.
Also, I was literally doing nothing but lingering near the wayshrine in Alinor, my character was idle. But when I moved her, I noticed dragon pet was missing. This happened at least 3x since yesterday.0
