Im only level 25, so im not sure if this still applies end game. As an avid mmo fan, i like being unique and looking unique. The thing i observed from this game is that weapons and armors looks really boring!

My lvl 23 robe looks like a peasant's clothing. My staff looks like an ordinary walking stick picked up randomly in the woods. If i convert to imperial, my staff looks like a toy made of plastic.

My question is, will ZoS be adding new sprites for armors and weapons soon? Having eye candy weapons can sometimes boost player's enthusiasm towards the game.

Mayhaps you should explore different motif. The 1-14 items admittedly may make you look like a fantasy hobo, but 16+, you pretty much only need to find out what style/s you like. If you're saying they are all bad, then I would be forced to take out the BS (BiscuitS!) card.

The veteran armor in preview in character creation looks good enough but im afraid everyone will be running with it.

So you think zos will never add transmog or some pretty looking armor sprites in game?

Everything looks normal. My friend is lvl 30 and wearing lvl 27 armors and he looks like a lvl 5 toon xD

I don't know, it just sounds like you guys are doing something wrong, haha.
I doubt there will be "transmog" because you can already (re)make almost any armour or weapon in game in any style you like, so there is not really a need for that. I mean, come on, there is at least 14 different styles, each with light/med/heavy and all weapons in several tiers, each looking more majestic than the other, I find it hard to imagine someone wouldn't be able to mix-match the parts to create something they consider cool, hehe.

To be fair the game just started - of course they are going to add different styles to their armory, probably dyes too.

At the moment everyone looks like a generic knight, warlock, or assassin - regardless of motifs.

Yes. Exactly. I just want an assurance from their devs that they will indeed add more good looking equipments. Tbh, the most decent ones are the veteran equipments and even that, looks like a generic character in mmo. No uniqueness. Looks like a peasant or a commoner folk.

Wearing veteran light armor gears make me looks like a poor farmer's wife.

Anyway, there is a slot in our equipment called costume. I hope they implement that soon

Costume's already used for disguises, though, I would be seriously surprised if we don't see more options for that slot in the future.
