    You killed HMs first on PTS? world first cant really count anymore when it is on pts 1 full month. Congratz, but those worldfirsts are cringe at this point. Dont slap me!

    There's no actual hype for it. We don't see progress or hear about people overcome parts of trial. It ruins fun of the experience.

    Hmm. Not sure I feel that should qualify then. Wouldn't the completion on the PTS be the actual world first?

    Gratz to both those groups but the World First in ESO means nothing because of the PTS and the lack of competition. That's all people are saying

    I agree. It devalues the achievement, IMO.

    Don't get me wrong, it's cool some guilds have completed it. But I don't understand the need to show that you completed it first, live or on PTS. Other than to boost one's egos?

    If it doesn't mean anything, why do these posts reliably gather quite a lot of hate (or curiously insistent messages about how they don't mean anything or the writers wouldn't care), instead of being quietly being buried below the first fourm page? ;)

    People do care. Getting to a point where you can beat the trial on hard mode reliably and fast right at launch, is an achievement (insofar as anything in a videogame can count as achieving something).

    Everyone knows that raid groups use the PTS to get familiar with the content. That's simply part of the rules of the game "let's be the first at this" at this point. In sports, you train before the competition. It's part of the rules. No one would say "to really find out who the best tennis player is, we can only look at people who never held a racket before in their life".

    they were the first guild to clear the buffed HM on PTS as well, do some research before you start with stupid questions.
