I'm an Aussie & yep, having it go offline at 6pm on a Monday night is a pain, but I accept I'm playing on an American server, so it'd be a downtime that affects the least amount of customers as possible.

At least for the last 6 weeks I've been able to watch GoT during maintenance!

As for ping...yes in the last year or so it's gradually declined from 190ms to 340-350ms. And that's even changing from 21mbps ADSL2+ to 50mbps FTTN. I'm glad I don't do PvP or trials. The lag has now become noticeable during normal dungeon boss fights.

I mean, 'Straya has 27 million people, while 'Murica has 327 million... I think ZOS is more partial to shafting the smaller crowd when possible.
Shortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. When later asked about the experience, she seemed upset. Suffice to say, the Dunmer were not pleased to hear this, and thus they inquired further.
"Well," the Nord frowned, "the priests were very angry and unwelcoming. They kept shouting things at me like "you can't drink that mead in here!" and "somebody stop her, she's running naked!" and "we can't catch her; she's covered in grease!""

lol what is this whole common employed guy business? Sounds funny haha Must be my weird sense of humour...

Anyhow, my answer is actually a question. What is one more day wait in the scheme of things? I know the suspense builds up and we are all really excited about Elsweyr launch day ….but it's not going away anytime soon. I'm personally going to relax about this as I don't need any extra stress.

Just trick your mind into thinking you got the date wrong and it's actually a day later. Some players have to wait till June to play this chapter so my heart goes out to them to be fair. <3

Imagine being Australian and playing on Xbox. We don't even get Elswyr for two weeks!

It is painful working full time with a family when the only time I can play is a couple of hours at night. I get the kids to bed to play ESO only to find the servers are down. At least its only one night every two weeks. I bought The Division 2 to fill the void and they bring down their servers what feels like every night in our prime time.

Be grateful, OP, You could be on console and have to wait until June 4th for Elsweyr. :'(

This Australian is thankful for the Monday night maintenance schedule. It's one night a week when my eso obsession can't be used as an excuse for skipping the gym.

Yeah nothing wrong with maint on a Monday night. That maint that popped on Friday night a couple of weeks ago had me a bit confused though. Must have really needed it.

As someone who lives in Australia, these posts are bloody embarrassing.

Short-sighted, entitled (and slightly paranoid I might add). No one is out to purposely "screw us".

It is what it is and maintenance is has always been like this.

The NA and EU servers had different down times for maintenance.....

and the complaints then were about the same as now...
