So for around a week or so, I've been experiencing a severe increase in my ping, where almost nothing works in-game. I am unable to properly interact with anything such as NPCs or crafting stations, other players are teleporting around on my screen, my stamina bar doesn't ever run out, leading to an infinite sprint, I'm unable to properly attack enemies. Pretty frequently it gets so bad that I get disconnected from the servers and it is to the point where the game is unplayable for me at this moment. Prior to this starting to happen, the game ran absolutely fine for me, never had any issues with latency or connection issues. The issues happen no matter what time I try so it is not related to prime time usage. I'm on the EU mega server.

A friend told me to try running a tracert command against 195.122.154.1 (found from an eso support page) where from step 10-15 the response time drastically went up. Upon checking the IP addresses listed, where it went up so much, I found out that prior to reaching 195.122.154.1 (located in Germany) I was rerouted to Washington, US, even though I am in europe. I compared it to my friends result, where I saw that he did not experience the same thing, instead he rerouted as expected through Germany. I've seen that this has been an issue in the past and it's mindboggling that europeans are STILL, for some reason being rerouted to USA, even after this has been a known issue for a few years.
