I received a survey a couple days ago and completed it and it had this same funny question! The email with the survey did not mention the quar and its not in my collections, so they might have also sent out similar surveys without the free pet.

I also completed a survey but the email had no mention of a guar pet. Not today, I guess.

As someone who got the Bantam, this is...really lame, to be honest. Why only give them out to a 'small number' of players, and seemingly completely at random? If this is a 'thank you' for playing the game then it should be going to people who have been playing the game. There are people in one of my guilds who've been playing just as long as me, who take part in the PTS for testing, who submit feedback and all sorts of stuff, but didn't get the pet. How many accounts, though, who don't play as often or submit helpful feedback were credited the pet?

The only reason I see them doing this is because they intend to add it to the Crown Store at some point and are trying to drum up interest in it now. If they really wanted to thank players for playing, they'd have given it to everyone and not a small number of people. The idea of thanking players is a good gesture and all, but this application of it is just sucks.

It must be incredibly rare. Between my boyfriend and I we have 14 accounts (yes we're those people, lol) only one of our accounts got the survey. In a wider survey of friends out of another 50ish accounts, exactly one additional person got it. It didn't seem to be based on anything that we could tell (ie: purchases, account age, playtime, ect). It feels pretty unfair, to be honest. No criteria, nothing you can do, just some random pre-selected group. Our take was that it kind of feels less like a thanks to those who got it and more of a slap in the face to everyone else who wasn't chosen.

Same issue - did the stupid survey, no sign of the pet. Lame. I've played since launch when they used to give loyalty pets. Now they can't even get it right with a survey. ZOS'd again.

I got both the pet and the survey. I completed the survey as well as I could with total honesty about how great the game is but how badly the performance is killing it. I hope they will really take in account what we wrote there !
