Suggestion: Make Incapacitating Strike Root targets instead of Silence

This makes sense as stamblades do not have access to a class ability that roots (cripple scales with magicka), it would be a useful effect to have on the ultimate for nightblades but is a direct downgrade from the stun which is apparently deemed too powerful. It's also equally effective against stamina and magicka users rather then just being anti-caster like the silence.
It even makes sense considering the name of the ultimate, which implies it incapacitates the target (i.e. stops it from moving).

nekura✭✭✭I’d love a root/snare behavior like in DAoC. Maybe a root/snare that starts out at 70-99% and progressively goes down to 10-30% over X seconds.
But really they should have kept going with the positional requirements. Like, keep defile/20%dmg/stun but only if you hit from the front for gank.
The side/back has the strong snare but no defile/stun/dmg.0 -

Yes but considering the performance issues in ESO I'd prefer not to see it here. I have a hard enough time landing light attacks on most days due to the lag let alone landing an ultimate from a specific angle.1 -

Yeah I totally agree. In DAoC it was super easy to hit a Perf (front positional stealth alpha strike) on someone on Speed 6... imagine faster than horse + rapids + sprint.

Also agreed. ESO's combat is incredibly shallow compared to GW/GW2/DAoC/WoW. And what interesting game principles that are in place the game can't handle in a responsive and rewarding delivery.0 -
