I agree that the life the Anniversary Event breathes into Cyrodiil towns is awesome and promotes a lot of small scale PvP - in general I love PvE incentivized PvP; it's some of my favourite MMORPG content!
I think upping the Alliance Points gained per daily quest completed in the towns from 300 to 3000 would be enough.
Yes this is more than you get from capturing a keep ressource or killing a player solo; but these are dailies and as such something you can only do once per day per character.
I think this would make it more worthwhile doing these dailies every day and would promote people coming back to these towns frequently.
Also I would give Cheydinhaal and Chorrol capture flags aswell.
I know the map is kind of skewered for AD the way it is now, but I don't think this should hinder ZOS in making town dailies more rewarding - thus promoting more small scale PvP.
If a large scale group decides to occupy a town to kill solo players all day long because of this I think it is all good in the spirit of PvP - which is what happened during the Anniversary Event aswell.
I don't see the reason in bringing additional or changed rewards on the table - upping the AP rewards by a considerable amount would be good enough.
With 3000 AP per quest towns would yield 27000-30000 AP each for 15-30 minutes of work, which should make them lucrative to do for almost any player - especially with Jewelry Crafting incoming in Summerset since the reward boxes already drop a lot of epic jewelry as it is.

I love doing town dailies, because, as a PvEer who's pretty bad at PvP, it's the only way for me to enjoy small-scale PvP and to "meet" PvP enemies that are "as bad as I am" and have fun fights. Upping the rewards from those quests would revive the towns !
I'd also add that the Chorrol/Weynon quests deserve a re-design. It's OK to send us to remote locations so that we spread out and make risky encounters, but those locations don't have to be that far away. Horse simulator is no fun at all. Other quest hubs don't send you that far away. They're fine. Please rework Chorrol/Weynon quests.

Reward examples:
1)Undaunted Key upon finishing a town
2)Motif Box upon completing a town
3)Gold material upon completing a town
4)7k gold upon completing a town
5)Viable Gear with proper Trait upon completing a town.
Cyrodiil is a PvP zone. PvErs should not feel safe.
I am a PvPr. I dont want to camp delve bosses in PvE zones. It is such a boring way to farm Motifs. I want it in Cyrodiil.
I am a PvPr. Give me dolmen quests for Cyrodiil.
I am a PvPr. Give me Daily quests in Cyrodill with a meaningful reward.

you must be joking. undaunted keys or motif boxes for such tiny little effort? you want undaunted stuff, go do undaunted. just like everytime pve players want pvp goodies, they get told to go do pvp. as you both rightly should be told.

I am alliance rank 44 and a previous member of the best ESO raiding guild in the world; Hodor.
I do both PvE and PvP.
I agree that I don't think Cyrodiil town dailies should give the rewards listed above, but I believe the OP was just throwing out ideas.
The idea of raising rewards is not bad as it will promote more small scale PvP and is not meant as a way for PvE players to get easy AP - seeing as the rewards would be big enough that it would create tension at quest areas.
Good PvP players already make upwards of 60-80k AP per hour so 3000 AP per town quest (resulting in around 60k AP for an hour of work at maximum effeciency without interruption) would not be too much - seeing as you can only do them once per day and you most likely will only have proper access to 1-2 towns each day due to them constantly switching sides or having a lot of PvP tension.
Do you actually think that the notion of more small scale PvP incentivized by the Cyrodiil town dailies is a bad idea or did you just come in here to spread some salt?
I had fun. Even got a good laugh at clearing a delve and was 3m from the exit when a group of DCs walked in. Just a wall of blue shields. I got one, but the rest got me. Funny!GeorgeBlack wrote: »1)How many people had fun trying to sneak in towns to do dailies?
Didn't experience this, though I did see solo enemies running about. I left them alone (because they could easily take me out).2)How many people had fun not having to kill enemy colours but rather quest beside them?
Never experienced this either.3)How many people got EXCITED the moment that some agressive dude started attacking and you owned his punk ass?
I'm still waiting for a "good" reward to show up. 20+ boxes unlocked, and a stack of rocks and wood to show for it. Oh, and maybe some Frost Miriam.4)How many people loved gaining good rewards by playing on this map on nice locations VERSUS environment/caves, VERSUS players?
Meh. Just another quest.5)How many people are happy making gold from this activity?
Oh, I have every intention of going back. I found PvP to be a blast. Midyear Mayhem is coming up, so this will be an interesting experience for me. Never did this before.6)How many people will not set foot there now that the event will be over?

He's never been to vlastarus with a bunch of bloodthirsty AD tryna kill him while do8ng dailies over there.
Then... i also think that he believes that monster sets should not be farmed in Cyrodiil. But he forgets the Golden Vendor.
I dont care if they are called undaunted Keys or PvP Keys. I want Cyro towns to revive. And only profitable rewards can do that.
Learn to think outside the box slick...

he who? if you mean me, you're full of you know what. because i have never said anything remotely close to that and you know it. but hey, dont let a good lie get in the way of the truth. He's never been to vlastarus with a bunch of bloodthirsty AD tryna kill him while do8ng dailies over there.
you know this how? and you are absolutely full of you know what again.Then... i also think that he believes that monster sets should not be farmed in Cyrodiil. But he forgets the Golden Vendor.
oh, you were thinking? i thought you were making stuff up about what i know, and what i do. all of which is wrong.I dont care if they are called undaunted Keys or PvP Keys. I want Cyro towns to revive. And only profitable rewards can do that.

learn to think reasonably george. you want pve rewards, you do pve. you want pvp rewards, do pvp. But why should a quest that takes 30 seconds to complete (and some of those town dailies do) give a tonne of AP rewards? or rewards that dont belong in cyrodiil? And then you go do 48 of them in an hour or two and get a buttload of rewards for minimal effort. I dont think you thought this through at all. not one bit. You just want more bang for your buck without any increase in difficulty.
Until such time as the quest hubs are balanced out, there should be no increase in rewards.
Bruma - you can do the dailies and it doesnt matter who owns it. you can walk in and out at will. DC/EP located.
Cheydinhal - no guards. EP located
Chorrol - no guards to worry about. DC located
Cropsford/Vlastarus - AD located. and you cant do all the dailies without fighting guards or owning the towns.
You are clearly not playing AD so you already have an advantage in these quests. you can walk to your nearest town and complete dailies without fear. Every single time. AD cant say the same. You do not deserve more rewards for these.
