Why I dont play Argonians

Because I cant swim underwater and pretend im an an ambush lizard man :( And I been doing my own fun RP feature of my argonian in Elder Scrolls III, IV and V, so having the diving feature would be super cool in ESO.
Fan of the elder scrolls series since TES: Morrowind

    Yeah, there are two options:

    1. Exploring underwater (new mats, sunken treasure chests, underwater caves and other locales)
    2. Adding combat to #1

According to an ESO Live years ago, don't look for either of these *ever* (even so I came up with a vague general concept of a way of doing it  )

But then again, we now have dragons and necromancers, so who knows?

Honestly, I would give a 3~5% chance for #1 ever happening (for the 15 year anniversary?) and essentially 0% for #2...

That's something I miss in ESO aswell. Who doesn't imagine their argonian fighting that way? Water ambush and poisoning must be in the first pages of their fighting handbook. Sadly ESO's game engine doesn't work that way. So no underwater swimming for us.

Though, speaking of swimming. I wish the argonians swam like crocodiles/lizards instead of that weird sidestroke everyone does.

I was hoping there would be different swims for the different races as well.

I thought the underwater stuff was pretty awesome in Oblivion.

Same. Especially if (on a non-argonian) you did that quest just outside the Imperial City to get a ring which allowed you to breathe underwater. It was a lot more fun when I could take my time exploring.

I enjoyed it in Morrowind as well, I spent literally days exploring the little islands off the coast and finding stuff hidden underwater. I didn't do as much underwater exploration in Skyrim, I think just because there were fewer large bodies of water and I never spent much time along the north coast. But it was still fun to be able to explore along the surface and then duck underwater to see what was there. I'd love to have that back in ESO.

those silly argonians had best be focusing on their work assignments instead of daydreaming about what they would do if they had any sort of freedom.

oh, and i need a refill on my coffee.

...that is a bit of a vexation.

And its sad that the game system here is not exactly set up for underwater movement, because I always loved that in TES games, the hidden treasures and explorations in lakes and just off the shore...

Heck, here I would also love a black marsh DLC where there might be a LOT of swimming, so that argonians get to have an neat advantage over others...

I’d like to go back to Morrowind again, but it’s soooooo bad on Xbox original. It hasn’t aged well.

Maybe I’ll get a proper PC and get some of the mods.

I think it would be a great addition to ESO, but I suspect some technical limitations probably prevent it.

Underwater is fun, it's a 3D environment they can do more with and adding underwater would give them a lot more questing space. Limited to the land now... look at all that water! Ugh. Makes me sad. I love the underwater questing in GW2, it is SO much fun. They could put quests, gathering nodes, chests, and add breather gear we can make or limited time breather potions so we have to manage it or drown. I like the challenge of that, get what your'e doing done but watch out you don't drown LOL.

Except Argonians, who can breathe underwater

But for that, I might add some kind of thing that is neutral to other players but a similar challenge to Argonians to balance things out.

But... But... Argonians are the only characters who can swim fast enough to cross over to Sheogorad before being killed by slaughterfish! So how could you not play an Argonian at least once in ESO? ...Even if there's not much to do on Sheogorad. :(

Yes that one hit me then I realized crocodiles in ESO could not swim.
Poisson injection almost kill them and they reset, think they kill on more optimized builds but was at an dolmen and shot at them above a river.

Now my problem with Argoians is that they are ugly, or like one guild mate said then we did world bosses for event boxes and moving from Murkmire to Orsinium. Cuter ladies incoming :) as in Orcs.

Grinding just make you go in circles.

They really just need to update the "body markings" for Argonians. The more serpent / snake scale styles are the most tolerant. Since they dont miss shape the body and form nicely around the face.

On the other had for me. Orcs are just hideous and generic in their esthetic design. No slider on tusks, possibly the worst ear and nose designs in any game with a character creation.
