Possible inventory space fix via hireling functionality

Why not add a bit more utility to the hireling thing?
Level 1 could allow you to craft from your bank..
Level 2 could let you use your hireling as a mule for that particular tradeskills items. Which maybe you could purchase upgrades for if you need more space.

I don't see why you couldn't have them be a follower also, and just make them invisible to other people so you don't have to see everyone elses hirelings all over the crafting stations.

you can already craft from your bank.

yup I know you can, but it would make more sense that you can do that if you've got a hireling fetching ingredients for ya. Also it gives another reason to invest in trade skills.

I have no problem with investing skill point to increase space (pack rat skill line anyone?) however I think having a hireling increase a specific crafting mat line would be painful.

Lol, no need for all of that.

I just meant the level 2 or 3 hireling would now have a bank that could be filled with resources from that particular tradeskill.

Other than some logging off and on, i pretty much have this with 3 banker alts i maid at launch. I drop my stuff in my bank, and before logging for the night i log to each of them, grab their respective items 1-(BS/Wood/Cloth items), 2-provisioning, 3- alchemy/enchanting.

When i want to craft something from a certain skill, or my level reaches a point i need to craft myself a new set of gear with set bonuses, it takes a little juggling to swap stuff in and out via the bank but its doable.

While spending skill points to do this without the logging would be nice.. i certainly don't see it as necessary., just a QoL feature.

They could do a lot with hirelings to improve tradeskills, I could see some sort of hirelings being incorporated into the Guild skill lines also in some form. Maybe you get a squire for the Fighters guild, or an apprentice for the Mages guild. The squire could repair your gear for free once a day, and then the mages guild guy could recharge your staves and such once a day for free.
