I'll tell you what. From my experience 8 out of 10 "casuals" totally ignore what I say before the pull and look dead into my eyes before they step into the red circle. I don't give a damn about your judgement. You don't want to carry your burden? Get out. That has not even remotely something to do with "being nice".

Getting real tired about all these mind gymnastics. Stay on normal if you're a "casual".
I mean, you are already practically soloing the dungeon, so why does it bother you that you have spectators?
You should be proudly showing off your skills instead of giving yourself a hemorrhage while rage-kicking the "casuals" ...
PS: +1 awesome for picking a forum name that fits your personality!
With your friendly, helpful attitude it's a wonder you have to pug at all. /s
Your definition of "kindness" is limited to the amount of carry you can get from said person? Am I the jerk here?Facefister wrote: »"Being nice being nice"

You called yourself a nice guy, not me. Jussayin.

You won't get better by getting carried by other players over and over. You get better by practicing your rotation on a dummy and finding proper gear for your role.
I actually don't really disagree with anything you said here, but I was talking about folks who queue for vet dungeons without knowing what a rotation is and spam light attacks through the whole dungeon in suboptimal gear. It doesn't sound like you're one of those people so my apologies for making a false assumption.SteampunkWerewolf wrote: »You won't get better by getting carried by other players over and over. Attacking a dummy over and over isn’t going to teach me a dungeon or trial mechanic, and finding the gear I need so far has lead me into dungeons, so again what you said doesn’t make much sense. Yes an attack dummy is good to learn some stuff but that isn’t going to make me feel like I can just stroll into vet fang lair after hitting it for a week straight. Also I don’t mind carrying someone who really wants to learn and yes sometimes I get carried too but I always ask and listen to any advice, which is far more valuable than attacking a dummy all day. Plus its one of the more social aspects of the game that isn’t pvp and I enjoy it, and usually make it through dungeons just fine. Also at the end of the day I paid for this game and all it’s content so you can bet I’m going to play ALL of it.

If a DPS has at least has some semblance of a rotation and does the bare minimum dps (15k or so) I have no problem helping them through the dungeon, explaining the mechanics, etc etc. But based on my experience with pugs a lot of people queue for content that they're simply not ready for and expect strangers to carry them through it, and for those people I think their time would be better spent practicing their rotation on a dummy and acquiring proper gear in normal dungeons.
Simple solution: Only pug what you can carry, otherwise have an organised group.

So what would the test be for tank and healer?
Oh boy..that extra minute or ten to clear a dungeon must be a real deal breaker.
If you don't have a extra few minutes to spare, maybe time heavy invested games like mmo's aren't your genre.
Wasted time is the dumbest excuse in the book. It's a video game, a hobby. The entire thing is a waste of time. It's not life, or a job...its literally you sitting in front of a screen wasting time.
Especially in a random pug. If you go in thinking everything is going to be smooth and perfect that makes YOU the noob.
Start your own group.
you are showing that we are forced to carry for free noobs which will learn nothing from them and be only ball on chain

You are not forced to carry anyone buddy.
You are just forced to accept that the sun doesn't shine out of your orifices.

I'm just gonna say this, you're in one of my guilds, if you want this to be in game, trust me your DPS won't be enough. Good luck ever getting a pledge. So if I were you, I'd practice on your rotations instead of trolling this forum.

I am not sure if to call this a glorious roast, or something else.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vjKnS_frmQ but in your words it was described that, like every not exp player here, noob have privilege to be carried by anyone and any of those more exp players who just dont have time to bother with them
