This is the 2nd time the sever has crashed since allowing non eso+ members the free trial. Not to mention the event going on. This is absurd. ✭✭✭✭✭To everyone stating you can play other games: you realize how online games work, right? Data has to travel from your location to the location of a particular game’s server. If there’s a hiccup anywhere between point A to point B, you’re going to run into issues. It could be a ZOS issue, for sure, but until we know for certain, why rage at ZOS? There are people having issues right now across the US for other games and PSN services — there could be DDOS attacks going on right now, for all we know. ✭✭✭I suspect that PSN had local outages around 3am EDT started a chain of problems, and that while EA and Bungie got their problems sorted, ZoS, as usual is still discumbobulated hours and hours later.
I'm basing this on player reports from DownDetector.
Regardless... can't effing play.
