It's random, but every crate has a pool from which they choose what will be in the crate.

so its gambling... thx now I can tag them to go die in the spam section.

Just as gambling as it is looting a boss after you killed it.

You pay per boss fight?

Do you have any idea how much money it cost me to get into this game, make a character the way I want it, just to reach that boss that someone else killed for me because I was already dead?

Lol, nope.

It was the structure of the email that made me suspicious and that it implied it was from ZOS but when you clicked the link took you some other company.

Just got my alarm bells ringing that is all; so wanted confirmation it was valid; which it seems to be.
