    Easy.

    Battalion defender
    Cyrodiil crest
    Bloodspawn

    Enjoy never dying

Stonekeeper instead of bloodspawn. Otherwise I agree.

I need to try this out!

But, how can you swap out stonekeeper instead of bloodspawn when stone keeper is a 5 piece set and blood spawn is a 2 piece set?

Not sure which you’re thinking of, but stonekeeper is 2pc: https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Stonekeeper+Set

Maybe you saw the three 1pc bonuses and figured they were 2-4pc bonuses?

Edit: and to answer op, I’m sure it’s been suggested already but bahraha’s curse+leeching is a classic self survival setup. It’s not as good for boss fights but you can pretty much go afk against any group of mobs that don’t have 1shot mechanics.

Oh yes, I did. thanks for clarifying... thats a pretty good set for 2 piece

Imperial NB. Plague Doctor. Green Pact. Switch either set out for Bee Keeper for more health regen. Blood Spawn or Troll King. Orzorga's Trifle or Blood Pie. Lord or Steed mundus. Sturdy everything and block cost reduction on 3 jewelry if you like to just hold block. Divines small and infused heavy if Lord mundus. Health regen on all jewelry if you are going for a health regen build with Steed mundus. Stamina cost reduction if you want to heavy attack spam bone shield.

Edit: Rkugamz for block tanking with self-heals.

    Light of Cyrodiil on weapons/jewelry
Reactive Armor or Leeching on body depending on if the fight has CC or not.
    Thurvokun monster set

Jewelry should be protective traits with armor/spell resistance enchants.

Armor should be all heavy with max health enchants and reinforced/nirn - whichever provides more armor for the given piece.

Mundus should be the lady unless armor cap has been reached in which case the lord should be used.

We can't be bothered with casting abilities for major resolve/ward.

Important skills are Temporal Guard and Introspection (both psijic skills). Other skills are class dependent but should provide passive defensive abilities.

Important passives are Deliberation (psijic) and undeath (vampire).

Strategy: press key to activate Introspection. Recast Introspection if CC'd. Ignore cries for help from your group when enemies go untaunted (this is considerably easier than taunting enemies).

You get 30% damage reduction from major protection provided by introspection + deliberation, 15% from Light of Cyrodiil, 8% from minor protection provided by Temporal Guard, and Thurvokun provides minor maim to reduce enemy damage by 15%. Reactive provides 35% damage reduction if you get knocked out of Introspection or leeching provides extra healing if CC is not a concern.

You should be able to survive (almost) anything that you would normally survive by just blocking but without all the effort of actually holding block.
