Does anyone have a min-maxer tank that only wants to save themselves instead of providing buffs? I want to know how it's like.

Yes chudan is good if your way below cap or resist.

Typically if your sword and board you will use something wlse that gives healing or resources. Or damage reduction

Still a fan of support tanking and going more into magicka:

    -Akaviri Dragonguard
    -Ebon
-Bloodspawn (when you are a DK, if not Swarm Mother).
Sometimes the prey turns and nips us... it's a small thing.

So let the snow flakes and unicorns dance alone until they melt or vanish from existence, we will finish up with those smart enough to stay in the glowing circle of love.

The lady mundus + full divines
    x3 protection jewelry
    x3 health Regen glyphs
    Full Heavy
    All health attributes
    All health glyphs
CP into healing, health Regen, and mitigation all-in
    Orzorga's Blood Price Pie
    Nord

Sorcerer - gives you minor ward resolve and 20% health Regen potential
DK - gives up to 25% health Regen potential with less passive resistance
Templar has 10% health Regen passive but more passive resistance
Warden and NB can have solid passive resistance but far less health regen

    Earthgore
    Juggernaut
    Draugr's Heritage

The AFK tank, it's self autonomous, and if sorc you can even probably whittle things done while you sleep!

Edit: I seriously think this could AFK tank vet CoA 1 final boss indefinitely (would have to be solo or less anything else will draw aggro lmfao)

Bloodspawn, Dragon, Ebon. Be Nord. Get hit and make warhorn like the pied piper. Or Lord Warden, you give aoe resistance for standing there and getting hit.

A greedy yes, but not a support tanker and most DD and healer builds are set up for around 18k health with Ebon buff. You do not need high hp meatschield tanks in this game...but I know, the support tank is a dying species, because you need DDs who can actually make use of your support (debuffs, warhorn etc.) and that's the big issue in this game.

I used an afk health recovery tank for the week 3 cyrodiil town dailies, because recovery's not reduced by battle spirit like damage/healing are:

Orgnum's scales, beekeeper, troll king. Steed mundus. Blood price pie. Nord. Defending 1h1s.

Then each draconic power ability slotted gives 5% health recovery, so I slot all 6.

People would attack me at a quest giver, and (if they're alone) I'd just stand there, weapons sheathed, and wait for them to give up.

    +1

Don’t forget that you can swap Bogdan with Malubeth (more heals) or Valkyn (more damage).

If you don’t run as a vamp- Troll King is just as cheesy. ;)
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

The new Alessian Order is even better than Beekeeper, since it gives you resists and a health bonus, and if you are at max resists the same amount of health regen as 5 beekeeper (the 5 piece will give you ~660 regen at max resists)

Not sure which you’re thinking of, but stonekeeper is 2pc: https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Stonekeeper+Set

Maybe you saw the three 1pc bonuses and figured they were 2-4pc bonuses?

Edit: and to answer op, I’m sure it’s been suggested already but bahraha’s curse+leeching is a classic self survival setup. It’s not as good for boss fights but you can pretty much go afk against any group of mobs that don’t have 1shot mechanics.
