No way to quickly block an account sending spam mail.

Currently in the game it's possible to /ignore people in the chat easily: one just has to right-click on the name in the chat and select Ignore, and that's it.
However that is not the case with the mail system, where the process is a bit more time-consuming: first off, you cannot just click on the sender's account name to get a quick list of options like you can with the chat, and there's no "Ignore Player" command at the bottom (only Delete and Report), so to actually block that account from sending any more spam mail one has to write the account name down in the chat, copy the text there and then go to the Contact screen, select the Ignore tab and then manually add the account to the ignored list there.

The ideal thing would be to not have spambots in the game in the first place, but I realize that it might not be an easy task to accomplish; but you could streamline the way a player can block these accounts and report them. :)

    That is an excellent idea!

Today I received multiple spam guild invites, and I noticed that, unlike the mail system, you can easily Ignore and Report the spammer directly from that screen thanks to a drop-down menu that you get in the notification screen.

(I forgot to take the screenshot showing the menu, so I wrote in the picture what you see when you click on the X)

So, why can't we have a "Ignore Player" in the mail screen like we can with guild invite notifications?

it should ignore the entire account as soon as you report automatically.

safe assumption that if we're reporting an account for spam, we want no more from it..therefore ignoring it.

Indeed it should and it would be an even more streamlined way to handle this issue. (*)

I reported the first 5 spammers, then started using ignore because I got tired of the effort and the CS emails and following CS survey email just for reporting spam/bots.

I'd like the Ronco version. "Set it and forget it". Make it easier for us Zeni so we don't get tired of reporting them. Also we don't need an email saying you got our spam report.

Other games (*cough* WoW *cough*) automatically add anyone you report to your ignore list. It's pretty high on the 'no-brainer feature' list at this point in MMO history.

+1 @Armitas‌ I'm getting tired of reporting 2-5 players every time I log in.

Or maybe just send an automated acknowledgement to our in-game email? I mean, I really value my pile of customer service emails as proof of my amazing in-game ability to right-click names. But I could be just as proud of my spammer trophies with in-game email instead of clogging up my real email.
