Start earning Midyear Mayhem event tickets today

All of us who despise PVP have been given this wonderful opportunity. How can we do it though? The event hasn't started yet. Well let's take a look at the PTS Patch notes:

Impresario & Event Tickets
The Outfit pages* (in bound form) and Emotes will also be available directly from the Event Merchant, for 5 tickets apiece. You can buy the Emotes regardless of your Alliance.

You can also earn 2 Event Tickets for completing any Daily Quest that focuses on Cyrodiil or Battlegrounds. This includes all Board quests, as well as Town Dailies.

To begin your journey towards easy tickets follow these steps:

Log in to a character.
Proceed through a quest that satisfies the above conditions.
Important: Do not turn in the quest. Leave it open until the time is right.
Log out.
Repeat steps 1 - 4 until you run out of characters.

Now we wait for the event to start. You will have X (X = your number of characters who followed the steps) amount of days where all you have to do is visit Cyrodiil (or not if you prefer Battlegrounds), hand in the quest, and leave with 2 tickets. Everybody wins.

You might be thinking there will be nothing worth buying with tickets anyway, but if you are into outfit styles look upon this beauty:

Second Legion Outfit Styles can drop from sweepers and bosses in Imperial City

3 choices. Buy it with tickets. Try to farm Imperial City. Or hope the drop rate is high and buy it from guild stores. Play the way you want.

Technically, one character can hold 2 town dailies for each town, a scouting mission and a resource capture mission.

If you get together with 2 or 3 friends and get resource capture missions done on all characters, along with a scouting mission that's actually 2X. Add 2 town dailies for the closest town, and that's 4X.

I'm confused. What you linked says..."Second Legion Outfit Styles can drop from sweepers and bosses in Imperial City"...I can see two ways to get it. Farm them or buy them from traders, but the buy with ticket option? Doesn't seem to be on the table...

I just want to say that I dont hate pvp. I just hate what pvp does to people. It turns some people unnecessarily toxic. We should be able to kill each other in good fun

That’s actually a pretty nice Motif. Looking forward to it. I’ll just do the conquest boards or battlegrounds since idiots were standing around in circles around quest givers in towns last week making it impossible to turn in quests.

I'm doing the same for next week with world bosses. Also how I used to prepare to use up pots to Max xp before they fell from the sky.

Que them up, hold em, turn them in as soon as the box applies.

OP speculates that the Second Legion outfit pages may be offered by The Impresario, which I agree is a strong possibility.

In the quote:

No other Outfit Styles are mentioned in the patch notes.

Er...are you saying that you'd get these tickets for every quest you turn in on the same day? Because afaik, tickets have only be given for the first quest that counts towards them each day. Unless what you're saying is to queue up the quests and turn in one every day.

I think that's it. I think he's saying - Do a quest on each character now but do not turn it in. Then when the event starts, turn in one per day and its easy tickets, rather than dealing with the hordes that will be in Cyradil suring the event.

Any idea when this is coming? I thought that the 5th Anniversary was the only event for this quarter, on top of that we are going to be busy with Elsweyr.

Yes, let's start planning on Events while we're in an Event! Pretty soon all we're going to be doing is Events and that's it.
