Not sure if anyone else has encountered this, but I literally just ran on top of my horse - the character was standing and running on top of the horse that was running. As soon as I stopped running, he dropped back into the seated position again. Haven't been able to reproduce it though.

✭✭I've seen a few people doing that, but I don't know how it's done. Not that I've actually tried.
I think about the closest I've come is trying to sprint while swimming (silly habit). I'd freak if I ever started running on water.

✭My favorite variant of this bug was during the New Life Festival. During the quest where you had to go dance in front of 3 regional taverns, if you hit the mount button just right after triggering the dance, you'd hop up on your mount and dance your jig on their back! ✭There's another variant of this bug where instead, the mesh for the mount never appears, so you'll just see someone scooting past you at mach speed while they're sitting down on the ground.

Think its easier if you have lots of lag then mounting.Has been happening a lot during this event....
Porting to Elden root, mount and gallop at once makes it pretty common.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

This one I got several time in Cyradil. Never had it happen anywhere else.
