NB new marked target isn't a little op isn't it?

If you play a class that isn't NB you are told to use detection pots to find people that cloak, yet NB gets a free move in their toolkit that can stop them?

Now let's talk about the permenint major fracture/breech that they apply. So a NB puts it on you and you cast purge or extended ritual (both have higher cost) so now all a NB has to do is put it right back on you because it's free. So in the long game NB will always win because now we have to fight them with a debuffs that can never be removed..... Sounds fair imo and nbs say they are not a babied class lolol

    Not to mention the Stamsorc....
    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

Are you kidding? It’s the physical version of ele drain but that one gives infinite mag drain to your whole team... OP

First, it's not a permanent debuff. Permanent debuffs don't exist lol. Second, what's the difference between this skill and ele drain other than the 5 seconds of no stealth? Ele drain also gives magiksteal so this sounds like a L2p post to me.

If they always reapply it they will never deal any damage to you, and given it is a stamblade on live they already keep Fracture near 100% with surprise attack if they spam it. Not that big of a deal if you ask me.

I'm more worried about the effects on other NB players.

There's always gonna be that one guy in a zerg spamming Mark, back-to-back GCDs as his 24-man group zergs-down individual players. Previously you could at least play defensively and hope they ran out of magicka, but now they can literally do this indefinitely since the ability is now free.

Legitimate solo/smallscale players, on the other hand, won't derive any benefit from this change. Barspace on such builds is already overcrowded on live.

This is clearly a joke. The OP is kidding im sure.

    1. So, you would prefer to get hit by an undodgable aoe with huge burst that applies major fracture to you and your whole group?

    vs

    2. An ability that litterally uses a gcd, alerts you that the attack is coming and does zero damage?

yea. The 2nd one is way more painful.

Trash skill gets buffed and is still trash (outside of it's niche). Why aren't you complaining about Ele Drain? That one is actually overperforming...
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

I feel like this is against the NB class (im not a NB main) because IMO, elemental drain which is also free offers way more than mark target

Its only really a problem to cloakers. As mentioned; there is already ele drain which is free. Its kind of pushing to where I would consider with this and the assassins will change, taking my NB as a brawler. Little homogenized that way but you will really have to work to get away when there is a marker either by killing them first, or having to find a way to get shadow image to work and possibly purge to get away.

Criminals will always commit crime. Should we abolish the judiciary and police?

I'm guessing no—because it's not hard to understand that negative behaviours should be discouraged rather than allowed to run rampant. And guess what, it's much easier to do in a video game than IRL!

I think the skill is fine as is in 5.0.2.

If you compare to Ele Drain it makes perfect sense.

Yep, because Ele Drain also completely nullifies a class' primary defensive mechanic. Valid comparison, makes perfect sense.

They litterally can only mark 1 person at a time. If they mark a 2nd the first losea the effect. Its a trash ability.

Of all the things that can kill you in pvp it amazes me that this is what some are creating hype around. lol

It’s just a physical eledrain, now if we could just have Staminasteal in there and seal that deal so NB healer gets some unique utility

Stamina characters have much better sustain tools at their disposal than magicka. That's why minor magickasteal was introduced and staminasteal not, to kinda balance things.

Stamsteal would be nice for tanks tho, and I'm sure stam DD's wouldn't mind getting it, although they don't necessarily need it

I do not think it is too bad. Should it be free? Maybe not, but they were trying to justify it's use over eledrain (on magblade) so I can understand why they changed it.
